“Great place for a quick bite & coffee break. Although prices almost break the bank, you're reminded you're in Weston & paying Weston prices (over $11 for a breakfast sandwich). The vanilla iced latte was delicious along with the Venezuelan cheese empanada. My mom said her hot chocolate was average. We sat for dine-in & everything came out very quick with our 'meal' & drinks being delivered to our table. A couple decent sized tables located inside & the place is kept clean and stocked with everything you may need.“
“Great tequeno! This was an authentic Venezuelan spot.Empanada pabellón tasted great. Pollo empanada tasty.Great hot sauce and great cilantro sauce.Colombian empanadas cooked to a perfect crisp.Very small place but stocked with so many options.Lots of frozen fresh food. From empanadas to hallacas.“
“Great food. Love the carne asada arepa, coffees, and orange juice. Friendly staff too. The atmosphere is nice but it's also a gas station so just a heads up in case you're expecting a nice view. However, they do great for what it is.“
“We came from Statesboro Georgia, we saw this place on the map and decided to try it since we wanted to try Venezuelan food again after a long time, I can't explain how delicious everything is, I particularly recommend the tequeños and the plantain patacon yellow, the service was excellent and they were always aware of what we wanted, 5 stars are not enough“
“My husband and I have been to this place twice and will continue to come. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The only thing is that the first time I had trouble finding the place because directions pointed to a gas station, but then I saw the signs posted and it is a shared space with the convenience store.“
“The food was delicious. I had Venezuelan Breakfast with shredded beef and my husband hd the traditional cachapa and a ground beef empanada. We both have fancy mimosas. The black beans were not my favorite. The rest was excellent. We were a group of 9 and we also ordered tequeños, fried cheese and mini arepas …. All delicious. Now the best part… the service was outstanding. Javier was fast, detailed oriented and courteous. There was live music too. Awesome brunch experience!“
“MY HUSBAND THAT IS HALF VENEZUELAN HAD CRAVINGS FOR CARNE EN VARA AND STUMBLE IN GOOGLE WITH THIS PLACE DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY AND WAS GOOD HIS CARNE EN VARA PLATE WAS REALLY GOOD , MY AREPA THAT COMES WITH “SAME CARNE” IT TASTE DIFFERENT TURNS OUT ITS THE SAME CONCEPT BUT FROM A DIFFERENT CUT! THATS WAS THE DOWNSIDE IT TASTE OK BUT NOT WOW LIKE HIS BUT OVERALL WE LOVED IT ! ALSO WE WHEEE TOLD ON WEEKENDS FRIDAY TO SUNDAY THEY HAVE LIVE MUSIC AND TOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN DRINK(ALCOHOLIC) ENJOY THE MUSIC AND FOOD WILL COME BACK ON A WEEKEND!! KEEP THE GOOD WORK!!! SINCE I CANT ADD ANOTHER REVIEW HAVE TO MODIFY THIS ONE WE CAME ON SUNDAY 3/24/24 to listen to live music and get a Sunday with fam, all tables where taken 5 min wait to get a table however I saw that there’s no organization took a while to get the order 15 mins to get the drinks, the food came half way because they run out of meat ! So 2 of us already eating and they finish and the other 2 plates where not even close to come out! While waiting saw 3 turn tables family of 4 another of 3 and 3 ppl as well they sat down and no one ever came to take the order or even acknowledge them!! The lady that sales the deserts was the o e that had to help to get last 2 plates and drinks ! They have 3 young servers that look that are lost scared don’t know but definitely need to get organized in the weekends where big tables come to enjoy and they ended up leaving because they never get acknowledged!!! Food it’s good but get it together !!!“
“The food is good, the service could be improved a lot. However, it is rather pricey, considering it is casual no frills place. We paid around $55 for the two cachapas, two small empanadas, one soft drink, and one beer. It hurt to leave a tip as our waitress was apathetic... maybe because we were not Venezuelan.Vegetarian options: There were some items with cheese, but there were no vegan items.Parking: Free parking is always available in front of the restaurant.“
“The best empanada I've ever had in my life... and I've been living in Miami for 25 years. They're so crunchy, hot, and delicious, yet light. The sauces make it even better. I mixed all 3 together for the perfect taste. I also had the nutella cappuccino with a double shot of espresso and it was really yummy, not too sweet. My bf had the plate of steak with rice and beans with a hefty side or avocado. Definitely worth the money. Sooo good!!“
“I ordered Super Arepa through Uber eats and it was good. They are a little expensive but the signature arepas are huge. I got the chicken salad one which was loaded with cheese and creamy. I also got the regular cheese one which was just ok, the cheese wasn't melted and it seemed kind of plasticy. Overall they satisfied by arepa fix and I would definitely be back!“
“Lunch special was awesome, I loved it! I got the carne en vara with arepitas and avocado salad. Definitely worth a try and the price was fair! Not a fan of their Tamarindo juice though, but it might be just me, I’m not used to that amount of sweet.Staff was very friendly, I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for authentic venezuelan food.“
“After a year, we returned to Miami and we couldn't leave without first stopping by Maxi Arepa ? What a good thing!!! Seriously, the arepas take me back to Maracaibo. Many thanks to Yusett for his excellent service and attention. If you are in the area don't hesitate to eat here. We will be back soon ?????“
“RIP Mr. Zerpa. who always was a good and very hard-working person. He's not with us anymore, but his legacy is with this business. It changed owners and I have to say it's fantastic. The new owners have dedicated their efforts to offer good Venezuelan food, specially the fresh cheeses and tequeños , my favorites.“
“SIII EXCELLENT ATENCION Y SER HUMANO ES LA ATENCION DE EL SER RAMON Y SU EQUIPO EN ESTE CAFÉ CANELA Y LA COMIDA RIQUISIMA 100% SE LOS RECOMENDAMOS LA MEJOR OPCION EN WESTON...MI GENTE ES LA RECOMENDACION DE ANGELESK LA CHARRA DE ATLANTA Y SU FAMILIA“
“The portions are smaller than the one on Weston Rd. Weston Rd gives you your hard earned money worth. Weston Town Center doesn't give you your money worth. I felt like I was cheated out of my food. Need bigger portionsParking: There was not anywhere to park at. Need a parking lot for customers.“
