“I hit this spot every time I’m in Florida for work — it’s a can’t-miss spot. Picanha cooked over a charcoal grill with all the Venezuelan accompaniments I love: tostones, fried yuca, arepas, and ripe plantains. All unreal. On this last trip I introduced my wife to it, and she was over the moon. Thanks for the great service and food, Amin. I will be back!“

“Ok, I can’t explain to you guys how GOOD this place was, the food was outstandingly delicious and the prices were perfect, very affordable.
I came here with my husband for lunch and had Cachapas con queso y pernil which was the most tender pork I ever had, it reminded me of the way my grandma used to make it back in Venezuela. We also had Arepa de carne desmechada, one Tequeños and one Cachito. Definitely worth coming back for more!“

“Absolutely amazing experience at Lola’s Venezuelan Fast Food! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and everything we ordered was on point. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food.
The service was just as great, friendly, welcoming, attentive, and fast. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

“Arepa Pueblo is one of those small hidden gems you stumble upon by accident and end up returning to hundreds of times. In fact, this restaurant is my go to when I want quantity Venezuelan comfort food in the South Broward. Their homemade arepas are made with fresh ingredients and are the best I’ve ever had outside of South America. They’re served up in a quaint, friendly and inviting location just off Palm Ave and Johnson St in Pembroke Pines. Try them out…. You’ll be glad you did!!“

“Mi Dulce Avila is a gem. We’ve been eating there since m they were at the Yellow Green Market in Hollywood.
The arepas are amazing, and you can tell everything is fresh. On top of the food, the owner is really nice. We’ve come in a few times with our kids who have mild food allergies, and she is always incredibly nice and careful about making accommodations for them.
Great food, wonderful people. Highly recommend!“

“Visiting from Seattle my kids followed the bubbles, this stand is tucked away from the main part of market. We had the hallaca Venezolana for the first time (thats similar to tamale) it was soooo delicious! Also had the pan de jamon. I highly recommend! Going to go back to take some hallaca Venezolana back to our room. Friendly service!“

“Ok. I couldn't walk past anymore without going inside. The display cases are on full blast yummy.😋. Greeted immediately with a beautiful smile..Maia.{ 🇦🇷}She saw how i was eyeballing all the pastries so she told me i want the empanadas. 😁. Ok. Then Nayara {🇧🇷} smiles and said her favorite was the ham. So after she twisted my arm comfortably I ordered the ham. I also grabbed an almond croissant. Let me say that I'm back here again already trying dishes. And everything is yummy. True5⭐️ bakery. (Check out videos) Not one crumb was left😋“

“We were visiting from Georgia and this just so happened to be the closest coffee shop. We ended up going 3 times in less than 24 hours..Best cup of coffee I have ever had!! Cannot recommend the cafe con leche w/ coconut and the white chocolate mocha enough!! The egg, ham, & cheese croissant was also delicious and the shop itself is adorable!“

I bought this sausage stuffed croissant thing, sorry about the bad picture, but it was delicious, totally unexpected stopping in some random gas station on the corner.“

I can tell they prioritize quality over quantity as their menu is very simple but every single item of it, is DELICIOUS! If you are looking to “cheat” a bit on your diet but without much guilt.
