“Every time I have De Lo Mío, I feel like I am back home in the DR. They are a food truck located in Hialeah. Their service is incredible. They even know me by name when I call to order. They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.“

Even when I alerted a supervisor within the 30-minute mark, my food somehow got taken by someone who wasn't me. I was eating by myself, so no one should be taking the food I paid for.“

The walkup counter gives you a sitting bench to wait for your food or you will be notified at your table by the pager they give you, when your cooked to order food is ready. Ambiance is really clean. There is a condiment bar that add some peppers to enhance your burger. The FF were also made when your burger is made, nice hot & fresh. The double beef & cheese smash type beef burger with lots of condiments, price to burgers, beats all other local competitors. I also went back a second time & had the Ahi Tuna steak sandwich, the Portabella mushroom Hamburger, both were very good & a nice options.“

“My husband and I moved to a neighborhood just near here 3 years ago and we're so pleasantly surprised when we found this hole in the wall. We come here very frequently for the delicious food and large craft beer selection. The staff works as a team to assist everyone in the restaurant, so there is no waiting, only smiling faces! They have table games and karaoke days, and the place is a total vibe. Every time a friend visits and we go to grab food, we always bring them here. 10/10!“

Also, at least the Miami Lakes location, it opens at 12p not at 11a as per Google.Overall however, the quality of the food is good, the food is tasty and the portions are bountiful. “Amazing! Part New York Deli, part kitschy tavern, part Cuban eatery this place is not to be missed! Corned beef sandwiches sit next to Pan con Bistec and Potato latkes on a really fun menu. I had a burger with guava and it was incredibly delicious. My friend had a Jewbeun and it was a beautifully grilled delicious thing. It really is hard to pick just one thing on that menu. But the star of our meal was the Key Lime Pie! The best I have ever eaten and I have had many a slice of the real deal in the Keys! I had a hand crafted Irish Coffee with homemade whipped cream to go with it and it was worth every calorie. Soooo good! I was born in Miami and have lived in Miami almost as long as this restaurant has been in existence and lived my whole life just a few miles away from it. How I never knew about it is one of life’s little mysteries. Maybe it’s in Brigadoon. Don’t miss this little hole in the wall amazing spot for lunch, a good beer or anything else.
