“We always love the great food and service here in this historic restaurant. Don't let the fact that it is popular with tourists fool you. The food is great and the portions are generous and usually shareable for brunch which is great. We are locals much of the year and always make it a point to come here. Always fun and delicious.“

“Thank you Lorenzo the fabulous Host who made sure we had the perfect table on the patio. Then we had the best server Julius, since I have many allergies to food Julius Went above and beyond to accommodate me I had the best Fish that was cooked at our table I got everything I wanted because he made sure. Everything we had was amazing We topped off the night with homemade Tiramisu that was also prepared fresh at our table. If you have any food restrictions this is the place to feel safe and to know that the employees take this seriously . I know they have other restaurants and I am truly looking forward to trying them all.“

“Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful (I had the rib eye tacos and pineapple/guava margarita) and the service was impeccable. The manager, Martin, was the absolute best and our waitress, Rosita, was wonderful. She took such good care of our party as we celebrated our friend’s birthday. This will be a recurring spot every time I’m in Miami. Thanks, Mama Taxps, for an amazing dinner!“

“Wanted to eat some authentic Cuban food while visiting South Beach. What I got was WAYYYYY more! Nicholas was amazing. Everyone from the host, to the food runners were so nice!
The mango mojito is worth every dollar and their rum could be served on ice! It’s that good.
I got the fried chicken and my partner got the Cuban sandwich( this was his first one ever so he was blown away ) what a great introduction! My mojito chicken was cooked to perfection, the mojito was soooo flavorful and the meat fell right off the bone.
If you’re debating here or the place next door, I say here first, next door the next day. I believe they’re all sister restaurants so I’d assume similar service and quality of food haha.“

“I first had the pleasure of dining here nearly two years ago, and it instantly became one of my favorite restaurants. From the warm atmosphere to the unforgettable flavors, everything about the experience was exceptional. The plate of pasta I had on that first visit was so memorable, it’s still the background on my phone — and I’ve made multiple trips to Miami just to come back and enjoy it again. The quality has never wavered. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.“

“I came to this restaurant because I wanted fabulous food. The menu looked good. Sat at the bar and Tony was my bartender. Attentive prompt and precise. He recommended a couple things but I settled on the Mediterranean branzino. It was light and lovely and so easy as the service. Thank you for making my one big meal fabulous.“

“We choose it for dinner based on the reviews but after our experience we agree that the rating is too high. The serving was mediocre, the mojito was served in a water glass. We ordered pizza for the kids and the salami was spicy, they couldn’t eat it- a heads up would have been mandatory in this case. Despite all that the paella was very tasty, and one is enough to serve 2 persons. The prices are in the average scale for Ocean Drive.“

“Candi was our hostess and server. I very much enjoyed both the red and green salsa that came with the chips. I ordered the carne asada tacos… DELICIOUS!!! Flavorful and juicy. I also ordered a SUPER MARGARITA 20oz on the rocks. Also delicious and strong without the tequila overpowering the flavor. I highly recommend and ask for Candi. She was sweet and helpful.“

“Nice cute cozy spot. Good vibes! Both Teddy and Laura were very attentive. Would definitely come back. I had the churasco ( medium) along with the street corn and my had the Al Pastor quesadilla which had a good char. The drinks were good and even with a personal request it was made well. Yummy!“
