“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

Tried a little of lost things and not a single menu item disappointed. So grateful to have found this place and hope to make it back as soon as possible. Our server Sophia was not only attentive but thoughtful and kind hearted. She was a pivotable part of our experience and dare I say the meal itself was more then just a meal. “My daughter and I enjoyed our dinner immensely. We sat outside and while it was pretty hot, the service from our waiter, Luis, was impeccable. He joked with us, gave us a different bread dip to try, and made us feel at home. We stayed with the calamari which was delicious. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and it was very flavorful. My daughter enjoyed her Caesar salad as well. We will definitely be back but mostly to look for Luis!!“

“We came here to celebrate my 40th birthday, and everything was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the guidance with the menu and food recommendations, every part of the experience was outstanding.

Emilio was our server, and he made the night even more memorable. “I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“I had an amazing experience at Bungalow Beach Bar & Grill over Valentine’s Day Weekend. We were staying at the Cadillac Hotel, so the location was already super convenient. We had drinks and food here a few times during our stay. The food was excellent and the staff were all so pleasant! Vanessa made our last few hours really enjoyable before leaving to catch our return flight, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. She talked to us a bit about the history of the area, the hotel, and the restaurant. We really appreciated her kindness!“

She didn’t even come back to see if everything was okay, and if we needed anymore to drink. Didn’t think it was worth an automatic 45 dollars when we couldn’t even order refills or another drink.“

“We stayed in Miami for a couple of nights and tried different places for dinner , but this one was on a whole different level. The food , Service and the staff was sooo good. Authentic and a must go.

“Wonderful French/Mediterranean restaurant in South Beach. I've eaten there on two separate occasions and both experiences were top. With the beautifully designed in and outdoor spaces, a warm, relaxing atmosphere you know immediately you are in a special place. The terrace itself is on the Bay with the gorgeous views of Miami and its skyline. The food on both nights was excellent (duck one night salmon, Greek salad the second) with beautiful presentations, freshness and superb flavors. And that goes for the dishes of others in our group. The deserts we tried were excellent, specially the Chocolate Sensation!! Service is excellent, just what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. For instance, one of the nights was windy and cool and they offered us warm blankets or moving inside. On a scale of 1 - 100, I would give this restaurant a 90.“
