Poorest service I have ever experienced in my life. We had a large group of 14 and you expect some deterioration for a large party but this was ridiculous. Took over 30 mins to get drinks. Salads served without dressing, dressing took another 20 mins, and in the meantime some entrees were served. Husband’s food cold. While there was general agreement food was good, service was appalling. There appears to be language barrier with wait staff. But of course, 20% automatic gratuity...read full review

Di Mauro´s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria offers amazing authentic food with excellent service. The owner is super nice, kind, and welcoming, involved in all aspects of the restaurant. The food is fantastic, with the cacio e pepe rivalling any in Italy and the pizza described as absolutely divine and the best pizza ever. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great, and the hospitality is exceptional, making large groups feel right at home. The only downside is the portions, which are better for a date or formal meal; for lunch, a bigger guy might end up a little hungry, but adding the carpaccio as appetizer and the amazing, must-try tiramisu as dessert solves this. This is a place where someone who is Italian can eat and be happy, and one of the few in South Beach with excellent Italian food.
