“I'm excited that a fine dining restaurant is walking distance from my home. The staff were kind to me as a solo diner. Whereas many restaurants these days won't offer reservations for parties of one, they not only took the reservation, but also messaged me to see if I was OK sitting at the chefs counter or if I would prefer a table. Like Michelin starred Boia De, they offered me ½ portions of appetizers so I could try more of the menu (I did not have to ask for this, the waitress spontaneously offered). I found the food well-prepared and elegant. Great flavors with simple presentations and preparations. The lime leaf infused ganache on the dessert was the most novel thing I've tried this year. I look forward to my next visit.“

“I've been a loyal customer of Old Lisbon for many years. While the food was as good as always, the atmosphere felt tense during my last visit. Management appeared overly vigilant with the staff, which seemed to affect the quality of service and overall dining experience.“

“Love this place!! I have been coming with my daughter for years. We love everything on the menu. Authentic French bistro. Stefan and Valerie are lovely!! Valerie makes everything from scratch. Every time is a delicious experience. Come hungry and bring friends!! Somé of our favorites: French onion soup, Crepe Suzette, Crepe Rumba, portobello quiche, Crepe Forrestier. Nobody makes crepes like La Crepe!! It's a gem in South Miami. We highly recommend it.“

“My daughter and I just had another stellar experience at Sunset Tavern. We were welcomed by Carolina, who was so kind and patient, as we decided where to sit. Fan Fan then made sure we were comfortable, and greeted us with a warm smile. We then had the pleasure of meeting Amy, who is the innovator of the unique weekly lattes! When asked to pick a restaurant these past few months, I choose Sunset Tavern, because the food is delicious, the vibe is fabulous, and mostly, because I want to taste the new sublime latte of the week ( they have had French Toast, Cinnamon Bun, Chocolate Cherry, Lucky Charms, etc.). I have shared my experience with everyone I know, and will rally a large group on St. Patrick’s Day. We went last month, when a marvelous band called Chum was playing, and had another stellar experience. This is the gem of Miami, with creative people like Amy, elevating the experience for all.“
