“In the quietude of Su Shin Izakaya, one finds a sanctuary where the mundane dissolves into the exquisite tapestry of the ethereal. This is a realm where the air, tinged with an arcane essence, whispers of distant shores and ancient rites. Each dish, a silent ode to the moon's reflection on calm waters, invites the soul to dance along the fine line between reality and the sublime. Here, the chefs, silent poets of the culinary world, weave together the ephemeral and the eternal, crafting an experience that echoes the whispered secrets of the universe. Amidst shadows and light, the essence of true Japanese cuisine is reborn, offering not just sustenance, but a key to unlock the mysteries hidden in plain sight.“
“What an amazing little hole in the wall! We ordered a little bit of everything. Our boys ordered a ramen and a sushi while they played chess - they said it was the best they ever had! The Korean chicken was so delicious. 100% recommend this “
“Had an amazing evening at Sushi Kong, owned by the delightful Javier Zamora! ?? From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was incredibly hip and updated. Sushi Kong is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. #SushiKong #FoodieHeaven ??“
“This is in my opinion the best sushi place in Miami -as a Sushi lover I have been to some of the most fancy places in Miami (like Osaka) and the most humble ones and nothing beats Kae. Food is delicious and the ingredients fresh. It’s on the pricey side but the experience is totally worth it.“
“Embarking on a gastronomic journey at Sushi Maki in Coral Gables was nothing short of a revelation, and it was largely due to the exceptional service provided by our server, Jan.From the moment we crossed the threshold, Jan's attentiveness and finesse set the tone for an evening that transcended the ordinary. His quick promptness, coupled with an extensive knowledge of the menu, showcased a dedication to the art of serving that is rare to find.Jan guided us through the culinary landscape with the grace of a seasoned sommelier, recommending dishes that seamlessly complemented each other. His recommendations were not just about ingredients; they were about crafting an experience, and it was evident that he took pride in curating a memorable evening for every patron. What truly impressed me was the lasting impact of the experience! Weeks have passed since that culinary adventure, and yet, the memory of the evening lingers vividly in my mind. It is a testament to the outstanding service provided by Jan and the team at Sushi Maki Coral Gables. Having visited other Sushi Maki locations, it's discernible that the Coral Gables establishment truly stands out!“
“The food was amazing, the service was spectacular, and it wasn't full so the atmosphere also felt nice, another plus was the open bar. While it's not the cheapest restaurant the prices aren't that bad, we were a party of 4 so gratuity is automatically applied for bigger party’s.Also tango sliders and Tiger ceviche are awesome“
“good food and good service.sushi was pretty good!! specifically recommend the rene roll, spicy salmon, and the crunch roll. the gyoza was also good, and the sauce was even better. the staff were also super charismatic, and very helpful, despite it being a slammed night.“
“I visited the place a while ago and I can tell you that it is an excellent buffet, it is a couple of steps above average. They have grilled meats, a wide variety of sushi and cold dishes. The desserts are nothing like the typical ones you find at buffets. Its price is higher than most, but it is worth every penny.“
“They have cute little window tables and larger family style tables in the middle. The food is so delicious!! The staff is very friendly and the food came out quickly. The picky child loved the shumai, fried rice and udon noodles. The mango sorbet was a nice treat for dessert. The parking is in the back so don’t pull up to the front of the building.“
“Malakor Thai Isaan in Coral Gables, Miami is a gem for those craving authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The flavors are spot-on, taking you straight to the streets of Northern Thailand. Highlights include the fresh papaya salad and spicy laab. With top-notch ingredients and genuine recipes, this spot nails the essence of Northern Thai food. Don't miss out if you're in search of an authentic taste of Thailand in Miami.“
“Great casual sushi dining right in the heart of Miracle Mile! Stopped by for a light lunch after seeing a Miyazaki movie at the Gables Art Cinema close by. Refreshing meal on a hot day: a nice, cold bubble tea and some colorful sashimi and rolls. We had the Cali Ocho roll, which had mango in it to bring some juicy flavor. The sashimi I'll say wasn't the freshest sashimi I've maybe ever had in my life but it was plentiful, beautifully plated and reasonably priced. So worth it, I'd say. Wonderful service from LeRoy, who we learned has been working here for nearly 18 years! We were very surprised the location has been around so long since it feels brand new and modern. LeRoy let us know it was recently remodeled - it definitely shows, it could have been built yesterday from how new it feels! Looks like there's a daily happy hour, so will aim to come back to check that out!“
“Delicious food, awesome ambiance, and friendly staff. They have an amazing sake list and drinks menu. The spicy edamame are the best I’ve ever had, the angel roll, miami heat roll, kendall roll, and fried rice are all a must try, and the tempura cheesecake is outrageous.“
“The most extensive menu out of any Hillstone/Houstons location. The caesar salad is the best in the world- it really is.Veggie burger is amazing; key lime amazing; spinach dip is amazing. All good quality.Bring back the milkshakes from years ago. The staff is great also.Thank you“
“Excellent Thai and Japanese restaurant in Coral Gables. This restaurant is located right across the University of Miami and nearby the metro station so it is very accessible. The ambience is moderately lit, perfect for a date night. Service was quick and waiters were friendly. I got the pad see eiew from here and the noodles and seasoning was good. I would come here again and try other things on the menu!“
“Came here with two friends on a Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday and new job. This place is pricey and generally requires a reservation weeks in advance, but it's a really nice experience! The space is beautiful, food is delicious, and service is excellent. Since we were a group of 3 they sat us at the end of the table, so we didn't really get to see the food being prepared which was a bit of a disappointment. I'd say keep that in mind if you plan on going in a group. Shingo isn't a place I necessarily need to come back to, but I'm happy I got to try it and I think it's worth a visit if you enjoy sushi.“
