“I order the Hibachi stake cooked medium. The stake was overcooked and cut into very large pieces making it very difficult to swallow. My son had 3 different types of sushi rolls, he loved them. I gave them 4 stars because the service was good. I will never order the hibachi again“

“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! Can't wait to try your other roles and highly recommend to anyone in the area as I think they also deliver!“

“Me and my sister went out for lunch and we were looking for a good Japanese restaurant and I found Umaimon and it is the best Japanese restaurant we've had in Miami. If I had to eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life this is the one. The owner is so nice so polite the kindest owner I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is authentic delicious me and my sister shared the onigiri bento box and it was amazing all the food is great we had the spicy tuna mayonnaise onigiri and it was the best onigiri I've had. I had a poke bowl and my sister had a spicy miso ramen and they were both amazing the poke bowl is so fresh and delicious its simple but amazing and the spicy miso ramen has an amazing depth of flavor. The matcha shaved ice is spectacular the owner gives you matcha sweetener to control your sweetness and it was amazing the only problem I had was I didn't order everything twice it was all so good. The portions are more than enough its so filling. If I had to describe my experience in one sentence I would say, the food was amazing the owners so kind and im definitely coming back. “We were out for a walk in the Gables and decided to stop for sushi. We ordered 2 rolls—both were prepared decently and the fish tasted fresh. There was only one other table of guests at 12:30 but it looked like busy take out orders. Maybe that’s why the service was really lackadaisical—had to ask for drink refills, were handed a box for our remaining pieces without any service or ginger or sauce as would find in a take out order and we had the equivalent of a full roll left.“
