Megumi Sushi Reviews
The staff are so friendly and engaging!
Service and food was amazing.
Pretty good sushi with beautiful presentation. I definitely recommend the Son's Special with the wonton chips, it was the standout dish. The Thai donuts were also delicious and a great way to end the meal.
The tuna tataki was just okay. The cuts were a little unusual, and it seemed slightly overcooked. The crab avocado salad, which was a special, was very good.

Customers find Megumi Sushi a nice spot with beautiful presentation. The Son's Special with wonton chips stands out, and Thai donuts are a good way to finish. Tuna tataki is just okay, but the crab avocado salad is very good. Some customers note that customizing orders can be confusing, so keep changes minimal. The price feels a little high for the quality, but many still return for a Sunday dinner.
Formerly Volcano Sushi, the place is hard to find without a sign, but it sits next to Chicken Kitchen. Many guests enjoy takoyaki, miso soup, tom kha gai, and the sushi boat for two, all fresh and full of flavor. The salad dressing is out of this world; people ask for extra. Staff are friendly and the chef is super nice, making the meal pleasant.
Other favorites include duck curry, octopus appetizer, and sushi rolls. Sapporo beer is nicely chilled. Pickup orders return 100% of the time, though portions can be small. Regulars love noodle dishes, candy cane, Carolina Bites, Appetizer Sampler, and Bao Bun Short Ribs. Lunch specials between 12‑3 pm are a good deal, and the catering sushi boat is gorgeous.
