“I made my pick-up order here while hungry and waiting for my dentist appointment; not only did they finish and prepare the food in a timely manner but they even called me 2x before I went to pick it up (appointment ran longer). When I finally got to try to food at home, it was still pretty warm. Flavor wise, EVERYTHING WAS THERE!!! I ordered the Sopa Soy Kao and the Pollo Chi Jau Kay. The crispy skin on the chicken dish was still crispy and didn’t get soggy by the time I arrived home. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the meat wasn’t over cooked. The sopa was also relatively warm by the time I got home. The sopa had a wonderful ratio of Soy Kao to noodles and broth. The soy kao’s were pretty generous in size and were well seasoned. The broth was very light bodied but still flavorful enough to compliment the soy kao’s. As I did have it as a to-go order, I didn’t get to have too much of an experience with the attention. But I was contacted by the employee because I had been taking a while to pick up the food, he had called to advise the quality of the food may not be the same since it’s been sitting there. I thought it was a kind gesture from his part. Overall, I really liked the food and will order from here again!“
“This place was a family run restaurant, which I didn’t even notice until halfway through our meal, when we saw two little kids in the back on their iPads. For me, you know the food at the restaurant is gonna be really good and really fresh when it’s a family run restaurant, and it was everything me and my family ate. There was amazing.“
“Always love this location! Especial the OG south beach Spot. Being seated by the kitchen can get a little loud, especially as they clink plates and pack to go orders by your head. Other than that the Food was AMAZING!! This is our 3rd time back at this Dadeland location and it's always a pleasure.“
“This is the best restaurant in Miami. The management really takes their approach to running a restaurant the right way and I appreciate the classy aesthetics and the clean dining room has me in aw. Furthermore the staff really knows their craft especially one of the cook who is very tall makes a delicious Orange Chicken and the general manager Hernan really loves his staff and his job I can see it how he goes about it with serving me and other customers with a genuine smile on his face it makes me feel welcomed. Overall this restaurant is one I will keep coming back to. 5 out of 5 stars keep up the good food.“

“Food and service have been consistent and fresh. We go there when we want a light meal with no muss or fuss. They also have some menu item from the old Canton that used to be there for many years. I particularly like their Tuna poke bowl along with a hot pot of green tea. Their Pa ti is also very good. My wife likes to get a sushi roll, they are all good, and will share. Servers are very friendly. My wife is gluten free so we must be mindfully of that.“
“I go into Sushi Maki on Sunset once or twice a week. I love everyone and everything about this place. Julia and Cecile have been taking such great care of me with dine in or takeout. I love their bento boxes the chicken Teriyaki is one of my favorites . Julia just got me hooked on the Whole Foods Roll… soooo good. Cecile is amazing she is the cutest person ever. The sushi chef’s are great , the food is always excellent. I have always had the best experience when ever I go there. The vibe is always chill and cozy. I love you guys! “This is such an underrated gem in Kendall. Stopped in the other day for so sushi and I was presently surprised! In terms of decor it looks like most other sushi maki's, but it was clean and good size so you don't feel crammed when eating. In terms of service, we ordered take out so I can't say much, but the staff member who took my order over the phone was very friendly and my order was 100% correct! Not the food: 1. My dragon roll was PERFECT. I know that's a basic roll, but it was perfect and tasted so fresh, I was so happy! 2. The friend rice was the weakest part of the meal in my opinion, it was good but a bit on the dry side. Could have used more sauce or less cook time? 3.The veggie spring roll was so good! “Solid Chinese takeout spot. I've ordered from here a few times now and it's always been a good experience. I live about a block away so it's nice to have a good Chinese takeout place close by for the nights when you just don't feel like cooking. Wait time is usually about 15-20 minutes for pickup. As is customary with Chinese takeout, the portions are very generous. Some entrees come with a side of rice in addition to the fried rice order, so we always have a ton of rice. My favorite is the honey chicken. They put the sauce on the side so I can control how much sauce I want. There's nothing worse than your chicken being so drenched in sauce that it's soggy. The chicken stays super crisp. I've also had the general tso, Orange chicken, spring rolls, and crab rangoons (could have put more filling but not bad). Hits the spot when you want Chinese takeout.“
