“We stumbled across this place by accident but decided to try it out. This is a small and elegant restaurant, great for a date. Place maybe holds 40 people. We got empanadas for appetizer, wife got some white fish chunk ceviche, other wife (her cousin) got thin sliced samon and I got filet mignon with fried rice plus we shared a plate of sushi. Everything was amazing. Full of flavor, well prepared, excellent service. Just the whole night was very pleasant. Highly recommend trying this place out.“

This is a 5 star restaurant all across the board from atmosphere to the service the decor is 10/10. The drinks are creative as you can see in the picture posted anybody who goes to Miami I always recommend this place I can’t wait to go back. When ordering drinks for a large group many people ordered martini’s of different styles, some extra dirty some not and we asked the server she said they all were the same no matter what we ordered and she didn’t care. The price is not worth the level of service we received. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant.“

“Based on all of the extremely positive reviews I saw, I thought this place was going to be overhyped, but it was not! We had a incredible meal. We got 4 à la carte plates (crudo, waygu bao, wontons, rice) between 2 people, plus the Hong Kong French toast for dessert. Everything was incredible. Great suggestions from our waiter, but I’m sure we couldn’t have gone wrong with anything on the menu. The wine list was small, but clearly well curated!

For mains, Valentino recommended the Flaming Lobster Thermidor and Skirt Steak — both were incredible. We also loved the truffle fries, broccolini, and pistachio baby carrots. My wife had the Porn Star Martini, I enjoyed the Mystic Jade and Timeless Old Fashioned, and we finished with the delicious Coming Up Roses and Giselle’s Pearls for dessert.

We loved crispy rice spicy tuna- very crispy, and rock shrimps were great which made us order rock shrimp roll( my favorite)! Drinks were a little strange- fortune teller was very specific, i was expecting more whisky flavor, but it tasted more sour. “This was my second visit to Sando Miami, and while it was a decent experience overall, there are definitely a few areas that could be improved.

This time around, I tried the pork Japanese curry and the chicken katsu. The curry was a solid 4/5, good, but nothing particularly memorable. Personally, I would have liked a bit more spice, but that comes down to preference. What stood out more to me was the portion size. It leaned on the small-to-medium side, and at $23, it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

The chicken katsu was more reasonably priced, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The sandwich was dripping oil, which took away from the overall experience and made it feel heavier than it should be.

All in all, Sando Miami is a decent option, but with a few adjustments, especially on portion value and execution, it could be much better.“
