“Loved the Mushroom Alfredo Pasta here - so many choices! I will definitely be back to try more options too. Their pizzas looked amazing too! Great for Vegan, Plant Based, those seeking healthier Italian options, and great for bringing your non-Vegan friends & family. Lamb shanks and Cacio E Pepe were great too, also recommended. Ambiance is simple but cozy, with indoor and outdoor options.“

Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“My husband found this little gem and we went for brunch on our first day in Coral Gables. We struck gold! Not only was our server, Monica, a treat but so was the food. We went with two of her recommendations. The il piu italiano avo toast and mega mushroom omelette…so good!! I went back the next morning because I really wanted to try the don’t be a (lemon) tart French toast…another hit. And my server, Rashad, was another gem! I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and workers at Threefold, and would highly recommend you check this place out.“

“I stop by the cafe here every now and then when I'm in the area, and always love the ambience, the food, and the fact that you can browse or buy a book or few (while supporting a family-owned local business).

I had lunch at the bar yesterday, and had a particularly great experience thanks to the bartender Gabriel, who not only provided me with exceptional service, but I watched while he handled what could have been a bad situation with grace and diplomacy beyond what I'm sure I would have been capable of.

A woman came in with a group that was stopping in the area part of a bus tour, and they were trying to get a quick bite. In spite of the woman clearly acting entitled and trying to push to get food out right away, he calmly explained that he didn't want to promise something he couldn't deliver and disappoint her, and that the cafe was full, it's a small kitchen, and the staff in back was already dealing with a 12+ long line of orders in process.

He offered her some solutions like grabbing dessert which was already made etc. but she clearly was just upset that she wasn't getting special treatment and having her unrealistic expectations met. I have no doubt that if he had responded in anything less than the impeccably professional manner that he did, she could have easily caused a ruckus, but instead she and her friends left without further issue once it was clear that it wasn't going to be feasible to get food out in their tight timeframe.“

“This was excellent italian food. We got the gnocchi, margharita pizza, and lasagna. The pizza was delicious, baked fresh in a wood burning oven, but omg the gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. Def a small business, cozy vibe, not a wine-n-dine place, but just what we wanted.“

I travel to the area for work, and I always make it a point to stop here because of a gentleman named Mansor who works up front. He is one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met. He brings so much joy to his work, and he genuinely lights up when he recognizes a familiar face. His warmth and kindness make every visit feel personal.

“Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

“We generally have good experiences at Mariposa, but in this case we were seated at a bistro table by the bar and the bartender served as our waiter. In short, his service was mediocre at best (forgot our starters and made an error on the food order) because he was tending to drink orders and other guests at the bar. Do NOT sit at the bar if you visit Mariposa.“

“It was a great event. The food was excellent and portion good. A 2nd round of wines would have been nicer. The only drawback we found was the service was a bit rushed, Example before we had finished the Chardonnay and had time to comment, the Pinot Noir was served and so it went with all the courses. “The food has always been excellent and all the years I’ve been coming to the art house. The amazing amount of beers they have is incredible and hard to match anywhere else in town. The place is a lot of fun, with large screen TVs everywhere for any of the sporting events that could be on at the time. Because the place is super busy, service could be excellent or it could just be adequate. Depending on how overwhelmed the server is at the time. But I wouldn’t let that detract because you just sit there and drink your beer and watch TV while you’re waiting and things seem much better.“
