“I went for an open mic with a local comedian, and I had so much fun. This is a cozy place with many delicious drink options. I will be honest, I didn't eat much of the food, but the ceviche with shrimp was delicious. The night ended with a live performance by a cuban husband and wife duo who gave us an amazing close to the night! I look forward to going back soon for the one star I'm missing (food) 😉“

“This place had been on my list for a while, but every time I stopped by, the wait was over two hours. I finally visited on a weekday, and it was totally worth it. We got seats at the bar right away and finally got to try it. The French toast was easily my favorite. It was so good that I’d come back just for that. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and I also loved the sourdough bread served with the eggs. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the coffee. I prefer a stronger espresso flavor, so it just wasn’t my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. If you’re nearby, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful (I had the rib eye tacos and pineapple/guava margarita) and the service was impeccable. The manager, Martin, was the absolute best and our waitress, Rosita, was wonderful. She took such good care of our party as we celebrated our friend’s birthday. This will be a recurring spot every time I’m in Miami. Thanks, Mama Taxps, for an amazing dinner!“

“This restaurant is a great place for anyone who loves burgers, steaks, pasta, and classic comfort food. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The burgers were juicy, the steak was tender, and the pasta was delicious. The portions were generous, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.
The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was just right.
Their happy hour is fantastic, with great food and drink specials that make an already enjoyable experience an even better value.

“Great burgers! Me and my wife were craving a good burger in our area. We came across Charles & Larry’s and with a 4.6 rating, we said, let’s give it a shot!
The place is small and has capacity for about 30 -40 people. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly server, who was very helpful with the menu.
I ordered the Charles burger and, as you see in the picture, it did not disappoint!!! My wife ordered a single burger, but it was as good.
The Charles came with two patties, American cheese, Venezuelan soft - hand made cheese, coleslaw, lettuce, bacon and julienne potato sticks. I opted out of the tomatoes.
Burgers were cooked to perfection and the flavors were harmonious!!! Drizzle them up with some “house sauce” and it’s as perfect as a Venezuelan burger could be. I guess the only thing missing was a fried egg on top!!
Needless to say, I could not finish my burger as it was waaaayyy too big for me to finish it (and I can eat!!)
Five stars to the Maracuchos (Venezuelans from Maracaibo). I will definitely go back!“

“Fabulous restaurant with great tasting food and wonderful service. Only complaint is that Elcielo doesn't allow you take home any food you don't finish. I know that Elcielo is a Michelin starred restaurant and can get away enforcing this policy but I've never had a worse feeling at a restaurant than when my request to take my unfinished portion home was denied. Talk about feeling small and unappreciated! Ruined what would have otherwise been a 5-star dining experience and ended up walking out with a bad taste in my mouth which is shocking considering how good the food was. They need to rethink this policy because it became the top thing my wife and I remembered about our meal and even talked about it the next day.“

“There is a reason this establishment is a destination. If you are in Miami, this is a must to enjoy. From coffee to dessert, your palate deserves this experience.
Update 1/2026: I brought friends this time. They absolutely loved it. The crème brûlée is a must. Food was phenomenal and walked the complete location. The pastries look amazing and had coffee at the coffee bar. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended.“

“Love coming here. This is about my fourth visit here and the food is very delicious. Waitresses and waiters are very friendly. Management is very communicative and attention to detail. “The place has potential, but some of the prices are a bit ludicrous for a sports bar. I gave this place a try since it’s within walking distance of my house. The inside is nice, the service was great, and the food was alright.
My only complaint is the pricing. While the happy hour and beer prices are great, they charge for refills on sodas, which I find absurd for a sports bar. Also, none of the sandwiches or burgers come with fries. If you want a chicken sandwich, you’re looking at close to $20, and that’s without fries.
If this were a different type of restaurant, I’d say it is what it is. But when you market yourself as a sports bar, those prices seem a bit excessive.
Overall, the place is nice, the service is great, and it definitely has potential. However, the prices on the food and non-alcoholic drinks are a bit too high for what I would expect from a sports bar.“

I couldn’t resist the curiosity of adding the vegan fried egg, f**k, that was the craziest thing, runny yolk and everything. Honestly this place is a must visit for any vegan in Miami, heck any vegan in south Florida.“
