We are not local to Miami, but would totally move down here just for the full-time access to this place. Don’t let exterior looks distract you from the inner beauty. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful, fresh, and filling. We went in for the Tuesday special (street tacos for $2.50 each). The chorizo queso also hit spots we didn’t even know I had. The fried Oreos topped with chocolate glaze had us in a daze.

“Great burgers! Me and my wife were craving a good burger in our area. We came across Charles & Larry’s and with a 4.6 rating, we said, let’s give it a shot!

The place is small and has capacity for about 30 -40 people. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly server, who was very helpful with the menu.

I ordered the Charles burger and, as you see in the picture, it did not disappoint!!! My wife ordered a single burger, but it was as good.

The Charles came with two patties, American cheese, Venezuelan soft - hand made cheese, coleslaw, lettuce, bacon and julienne potato sticks. I opted out of the tomatoes.

Burgers were cooked to perfection and the flavors were harmonious!!! Drizzle them up with some “house sauce” and it’s as perfect as a Venezuelan burger could be. I guess the only thing missing was a fried egg on top!!

Needless to say, I could not finish my burger as it was waaaayyy too big for me to finish it (and I can eat!!)

Five stars to the Maracuchos (Venezuelans from Maracaibo). I will definitely go back!“

“Fabulous restaurant with great tasting food and wonderful service. Only complaint is that Elcielo doesn't allow you take home any food you don't finish. I know that Elcielo is a Michelin starred restaurant and can get away enforcing this policy but I've never had a worse feeling at a restaurant than when my request to take my unfinished portion home was denied. Talk about feeling small and unappreciated! Ruined what would have otherwise been a 5-star dining experience and ended up walking out with a bad taste in my mouth which is shocking considering how good the food was. They need to rethink this policy because it became the top thing my wife and I remembered about our meal and even talked about it the next day.“

You may have a good reputation but ALL customers matter and not only the politicians giving a press release.“
