“Don't look any further, make a reservation to eat here and I promise you will not regret it! From the moment you walk into Pisco y Nazca, the vibrant Latin vibe is present everywhere you look. The decor is absolutely gorgeous inside and outside and the tables are very comfortably spaced. From your first hello until your last step in the restaurant, everybody you interact with is extremely attentive, friendly, and eager to help you out. But most importantly, the flavors of this place are exquisite. We went as a group of four and shared an array of about eight dishes and it is impossible to pick a favorite. The ingredients are extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. If you like Peruvian food this restaurant is a must! Everything about our experience was absolutely amazing!“
“Honestly no idea why this restaurant has, relatively speaking, poor reviews. We came here for lunch, and the service was impeccable, design and ambience spot on, and (most importantly) food was delicious. Can't wait to come back for a proper dinner.“
“Excellent place, delicious food but the most spectacular thing is the service of the guys, I am a customer and from having a simple coffee, to a dinner is pleasant and equally attended by the excellent service of their employees..! Almost everyone has served us and we love that they make us feel at home (Federico especially ? I highly recommend this place“
“The place is a little hard to find since there's no sign outside but the waitress was kind enough to waive us down. Food was amazing! I did find a bone and salmon skin on my salmon benedict but nothing to knock down. We had Mia as our waiter and she was soo kind, enthusiastic and provided exceptional service. Shes really the best“
“The atmosphere and the service were on point. Unfortunately the food was not. The salmon tacos were a disappointment even though the server recommended them. The lime-cabbage "salad" was minuscule and hidden under the salmon which was lacking in flavor. The salmon portions were a good size. Where were the cilantro, jalapeños, avocado, as listed on the description? The salsa portion was gone in two bites. I remember going to Mariposa when it first opened and it was exquisite. It wasn't close to that during my visit. They were out of decaf coffee? Really?“
“My first time experience in talavera was great and the restaurant had a nice vibe. Our server Javier was fantastic and the food was delicious. The Guacamole with chicharron was amazing & the tacos were awesome and a nice portion and variety. They have a full stock bar and variety of drinks so you have plenty to choose from, the margarita was great! I will definitely be returning to talavera to try the rest of their delicious menu. Thank you Javier for providing a great service and experience.“
“Had a great date night with a friend. It was our first time there. A shout out to Dennis our waitperson. He was engaging, prompt, and knew that line between being present to speak to our needs without being overbearing. We really enjoyed meeting him. This is another one of Olympia's upscale restaurants. You're greeted with a lot of noise as you enter. The acoustics shoot a lot of patron noise to the front door so be sure to sit on the raised platform near the bar or in the second room of you want a quieter experience. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the chicken pot pie. Both were very good. You'd think living in the Pacific NW good fish and chips would be served at most restaurants. Nope. It's almost always prepared with too heavy a batter. Uptown Grill crafted a delicious version that was breaded just right and fried to perfection. The chicken pot pie looked delicious and my friend said it was very good. The one negative element was my martini. I asked for a dirty martini with a twist of lemon and olives. The drink was fine but the presentation was lacking. One olive and a twist dropped into the glass. If they charge 12 bucks for a drink I'd hope they'd craft its appearance to match the cost. Didn't stop me from ordering second, though. I was thirsty!!“
“Best location for Hispanic amd Cuban family events gatherings and celebrations. They have Sunday evening bar nights with authentic Hispanic live music and the crowd albeit older is a lot of fun. Drinks se premium amen very affordable. And they have good Cuban. food and accommodate for party's and celebrations.“
“Mauro was our server and he was great! The food was delicious. The restaurant was nice but limited views, if sitting at a table rooftop, there is one section that has great views of coral Gables, there are two other bars with minimum views and one bar sitting with view of roof. The tapas selection was delicious, raw oysters were fresh and tasty. Drinks were ok some are pre-made, the expreaao martini was strong and delicious. The menu does state the pre batch cocktails vs made to order. Corvina ceviche, ham and manchego croquettes and the oxtail were delicious. Great ambiance with limited views for a rooftop restaurant“
“I recently came here to watch an Arsenal soccer game as this is a bar that supports the team here in Miami. What a fun time! It honestly felt like I was back in college. Of course, not the college bar prices. I can't speak to what it's normally like as I came Saturday mid day to watch a game and then again yesterday around the same time, but the vibe was really fun! Service was a bit slow to get a drink, but it was pretty packed. I tried the " Award Winning Wings" as well. $16 for 10 and we did 5 Asian style and 5 lemon pepper. Pretty good!“
“Had a light lunch at Cascade poolside at the Biltmore and it was fabulous. You can’t beat the beautiful location next to the pool. I ordered Shrimp Ceviche and a Stella. The ceviche was very fresh with bits of avocado, mango and jalapeño and lots of lime juice. It was very tart just the way I like it. The chips were fantastic with a sprinkling of Tejin—Spicy and crunchy. They were out of Stella on tap, so I had the can, which was fine, but not as good a the tap. The service was prompt and friendly. If the rest of the menu is a good as the Ceviche, you’re in luck!“
“The Capital Burger in RTC unleashed a burger so well-seasoned, even my taste buds started a standing ovation. My patty was cooked to perfection--I haven't seen this level of culinary wizardry since my microwave learned to defrost. The smoked Gouda cheese fries? They're on a first-name basis with extraterrestrials, that's how out of this world they are. Sean, the bartender, not only crafts drinks but could probably negotiate world peace with an Expresso martini in hand. This place is so beautiful; I'm considering bringing a sketch artist next time. Outstanding food, stellar service--it's like the restaurant hired food ninjas and service wizards. Capital Burger, you're the Michelangelo of the culinary canvas!“
“Perfect spot to grab a delicious bite to eat after shopping. Although sometimes I come here just for the food and skip the shopping altogether. I love that they have a seasonal menu that is always a beautiful fresh addition to their wonderful regular menu. I had dinner there recently and decided to try a few of their summer specials. The fresh berry salad, prosciutto arugula pizza, and strawberry shortcake were all chock-full of refreshing summer flavor. Our waiter, Jorge, provided excellent service, checking to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to return and try next season's menu! @annainthe305“
“Having just gone through a recent change in chefs we were a little worried about the effect in food and service, but our fears were unfounded. Excellent dishes as we used only small plates but the mussels were outstanding and so were the tuna tostones and croque Mamey plates ordered. Lenin our server was excellent and left us feeling like we needed to come back. The place felt a little empty as Lenin described the wariness people have expressed recently with the chef change. But put your fears aside, this place might be better than before.“
“Excellent meal and dining experience. My wife and I really miss the old Shula’s 347 and have been waiting for a new go-to restaurant to open in the South Miami/Pinecrest area. We found it…in the same location. The Caesar salad and [not so] spicy tuna tartare were an excellent start complemented by the roasted chicken dish with broccolini on the side. Each plate was as good or better than the last, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was terrific. We even had an unexpected Chef Jeremy Ford sighting as he presented a beautiful Tomahawk Ribeye to a neighboring table. Can’t wait to go back!“
