“Last night I celebrated my birthday at Bouchon Bistro, one of my favorites in the Gables. I've been here countless times for happy hour and dinner, and even celebrated an anniversary here a few years ago, but last night was so very special.

Huge thank you to Natalie for helping organize everything, to our wonderful waitress Wendy, and to the entire team who made the evening feel so easy, warm and magical. The service was outstanding, the food was incredible as always, and the whole space has that perfect elegant but laid-back vibe.

Definitely one of the best spots in the Gables. Highly recommend.“

The menu is a bit limited and unadventurous, but the food itself is quite good and the portions are large (if you're with kids younger than teenage have them split a sandwich). Prices are reasonable, in the Hilton/Marriott range (i.e., a lot less than what we expected given the luxurious nature of the place).“

Today I wasn’t just looking for lunch—I was looking for a moment to recharge after a demanding morning. What I found was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time.

The tomato bisque was absolutely sublime. Paired with the cheese toast, it was pure comfort elevated to perfection. Then came the entrée: chicken with broccolini and fingerling potatoes. The chicken was unbelievably juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, one of the sexiest pieces of chicken I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like a guilty pleasure in the best possible way. Huge compliments to the powerhouse team in the open kitchen—you don’t just prepare food, you put on a show.

But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the people.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated like royalty. Lauren, the manager, leads with genuine hospitality and grace. Arthur, the assistant manager, is an absolute ray of sunshine whose positive energy lights up the entire restaurant. And my server, Odalis, was exceptional—warm, professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. Not once did I feel forgotten. In fact, three different team members checked on me throughout my meal to make sure everything was perfect.

In today’s world, outstanding customer service has become rare. This team reminded me what true hospitality feels like. I walked in exhausted after a long morning of work, and I walked out feeling appreciated, energized, and smiling. That’s far more than a meal—that’s an experience.

This restaurant didn’t just feed me. It reminded me how powerful it is to make someone feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared for.

Bravo to the entire team. You have earned a customer for life, and I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know.
