The food is good but the service and professionalism is lacking. The server was a nice friendly gentleman but he did not speak English and had a hard time explaining the specials. I give him credit for his effort. On the other hand the manager was sitting behind us while we were eating and proceeded to talk on FaceTime with someone. A woman also emerged from the kitchen and both of them then proceeded to FaceTime together with three person on the other line. Once he was done with this call he then proceeded to call other people and also speak on the phone loudly. This is not ok. No staff should ever be on the phone talking loudly during dinner service. Even initially when we walked in, no one came to greet us as the manager was too busy on his phone. Food is ok but it’s not a place to have a nice romantic dinner as we had planned. My wife took me here for my birthday and the manager ruined the nice evening we planned.

Hidden gems ?. Nice and quiet, very romantic. Even if there are other people dining, you still feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The staff have great attitude and attention to detail. The food is delectable, mouth watering. I recently celebrated my birthday there. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant ?

Great service and food at this hidden gem in Coral Gables, everything that came to the table by recomendacion of Luis the Owner was superv, paired everything with a bottle of Domaine de la Solitude Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2021 by the way at an incredible value, actually the whole wine selection by the bottle was seriously on point and definitely at reasonable prices, going back sooner than later, highly recommend.

First time at this restaurant and I’m blown away. Service was exceptional, server gave great recommendations, all dishes surpassed expectations from the bread to desert. Black grouper, black risotto, lobster ravioli all outstanding in presentation and flavor. No rush just pure enjoyment. A must try and can’t wait to go back.

Excellent quality of food and prime wines at very good prices! But most important is the service from all members of the staff. They make you feel if you were the owner of the place! I have been there multiple times and I have never to complain for anything.Do not leave the restaurant without trying a dessert!

I had lunch with colleagues at Fugato. Food is amazing but portions are way too small. Main dishes are the size of appetizers. And appetizer are just a tiny thing. I will think twice before going back again, although the food is delicious.
