Another day, another Miami locale that is all style and no substance. Miami needs to learn some day that having a trendy (read: basic) interior design isn’t an excuse for having terrible service and underwhelming food.If looking for brunch place in Miami…look elsewhere.

My wife went out with a friend to celebrate a boozy Mother's Day Eve.Her review–The ceviche: flavorlessThe steak: it came with some fried yucca with no sauce, not even chimichurri. The waiter incorrectly identified the onions on top of the steak as chimichurri. The drinks and atmosphere were good. Everything was expensive.

This trendy restaurant has been blown up and is now about to close. Called restaurant 6x no one answered the phone. What once was a fun, hip experience is now an empty shell with a skeleton staff. The menu is half of what it was and what is left is unremarkable. Too bad they terminated the contract with chef Niven Patel. Sorely missed. We won't be back. So sad.

Went for my grandmas birthday and she loved it, the indoor ambiance is beautiful and so calm, they play live music as well and it just makes the room feel so amazing, the food is amazing though my mother and grandmother felt it was a little underseasoned, it was fantastic overall, drinks were great and our server was so friendly and made the experience much better, we do wish they did do dessert but it was for brunch which is completely understandable, the overall experience is amazing and really a place worth checking out

Not sure if things changed because of the departure of Chef Niven but food was disappointing today. Service was slow. Son Cubano band was great, the only highlight of our visit.

The hogfish and watermelon salad were delicious. Our server was outstanding as well. Keep in mind that a gratuity is automatically added. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will be back.

Limited menu. A bit Over priced for small portions. The atmosphere is dead. Boring. Lunch/ dinner menu is the same. Nothing exciting. No good dessert options.Parking: Plenty of options. All paid.

The food was OK, nothing was amazing. We had the short rib empanadas (2 small empanadas for $14). Our waiter said we could share an empanada plate with 5 people, we ordered two of them and glad we did.The empanada dough was good, the filling was very mid. Was definitely expecting more for a $7 empanada a piece. Also tried the Vaca frita tostones , and they were OK, but again, nothing to write home about or come back for.We were brought complimentary chips about 20 minutes after finishing our appetizers, would've been nice 20 minutes ago. Probably because the food was taking long. For our Main course, we ordered the Jerk Chicken & Short Rib. The food took a long time to come out(over 30 minutes) which we didnt mind because we were socializing. The restaurant was pretty empty as well, Sunday dinner. The short rib was a little dry, the outside was charred. I've never had dry short rib before, the sauce they served it with was also a very small amount. Very small amount of Yuca mash as well. The Jerk chicken was a little dry and the rice & beans and carrots it came with were just OK.For dessert we had the guava cheesecake, and we all thought that was good. Definitely the highlight of the meal for me.When the check came around it was 20% service charge already on there, and then they tax you after the service charge. The service was good, I wouldn't have minded giving a 18-20% tip, but why tax us on top of the tip. We were told by the manager that since it was in a hotel they did service charge, and that they charge extra taxes as well. We paid $26 in taxes for a $250 order, that is not ok. Florida taxes are 7% not over 10.This with the fact that the food was very mid, we will not be coming back. Not worth the price in our parties' opinion, lots of better places to go eat for much less.

I had a great time at Mamey - while the menu was limited, every dish was delicious. The drinks and food both scored a perfect 10 out of 10. The manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Food,, service and ambiance all excellent. We celebrated a birthday dinner and they helped with a candle in a dessert. Water was kept full, meals brough out quickly and food was delicious.

Wait staff and overall experience was excellent. This is a wonderful location if you're looking for something quiet, intimate, and aesthetically pleasing. While tasty, some food items did not provide a “wow” factor sought after. However, the items were good and the venue is worth experiencing, even if for a quick drink or small bite with friends. Overall, I enjoyed Mamey and see myself returning one day soon!
