Nice place to eat by the water. Fresh and clean. Good service . It is recommended to come at the end of the day after a walk on Doval Street.

Alonzo’s has a nice happy hour menu from 4-6p. I ordered the Pirates Punch for a drink. To eat I ordered Warm Crab and Shrimp Dip and a 1/2 Pound Peel and Eat Shrimp.The Pirates Punch was a tropical mixture of fruit juices and rum, both light and dark. It wasn’t too sweet at all and was so refreshing drinking in the warm weather.The Warm Crab and Shrimp Dip was more cream cheesy than anything. The chips were stale, which I’m sure because of how hot it is here is something that cannot be avoided.The 1/2 Peel and Eat Shrimp can be served chilled or warm. I chose warm which it is steamed in a beer and butter mixture and what tasted like Old Bay seasoning. Happy hour was a great value for dinner with many favorites to choose from on menu. Loved sitting at dockside table people watching and seeing the all the sail boats and yachts. We always look forward to dining at Alonzo's when in Key West!

Most importantly, our food was delicious. We had coconut crusted grouper and the whole snapper. Loved them both, so I'd say that we have no regrets going. On the downside, I felt like everything was just a little bit unkempt — dirty floor tiles, old floor mats everywhere, and the tables were cluttered with sticky bottles of hot sauce and dirty salt and pepper. The marina location is amazing - great to look out and see the boats and smell the ocean. But this place could use some visioning and higher standards.

Christine H deserves more than 5 stars for her excellent friendly attentive service. She's very knowledgeable about the food, cocktails and the local area. A great personality.The terrace has a great location overlooking the harbour, and the food and drinks there are great.

Came for a lunch on Sunday and was ableto get a table overlooking the marina. Great service and hospitality.The mahi mahi was fresh and tasty in the taco, platter and sandwich. All was done perfectly.Good experience and highly recommend.

Sat at bar by choice. Appetizers….high end bar fare. Oysters good….they as most of you know do not shuck oysters in front of you anymore…that says a lot right there.
