Cafe Marquesa was a yearly tradition when we are in Key West. This year our dinner was ruined by an elderly “VIP” and his group of heavily intoxicated friends. For over an hour we endured them knocking into our chairs, loudly describing vulgar sex details, and finally an attempted assault on the restaurant’s GM.If this is the caliber of patrons Cafe Marquesa attracts, it certainly doesn’t stand up to its reputation. To subject the entire restaurant to a bunch of men who acted like complete animals is beyond comprehension. To know that patrons felt unsafe when the drunk men became aggressive and completely ignore us when we reached out to management is unforgivable.

In our opinion, the best restaurant in Key West. Love this restaurant. Joanne was our server and did an excellent job. She certainly knows the menu and did a great job answering all our questions. Dinner was fabulous. I had a salad and pork Osso Buco. An abundant serving, very moist and absolutely delicious. My husband had foie gras and the duck entrée. He said it was wonderful. A rather small but always busy restaurant. Be sure to call in advance!!

Great breakfast experience in a bright dining room with sophisticated feel. Staff a bit inexperienced but try hard. The back ground music volume is a bit too high, it’s intrusive and certainly not needed in the morning. Hotel daily breakfast credit doesn’t cover much so it’s pricey but worthy.

This is the second year we have come to Cafe Marquesa to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food is fabulous, the service is excellent , and everyone is so friendly & helpful! This will be an annual tradition for sure!

Didn't know how to cook a steak to medium and medium rare. Then realizing it, all the chef did was reheat and replace and reserve the same steak but switched them. They did the right thing and took them off the bill and took care of it. We took care of the serving staff and manager that made it all right in the end. Should never order a steak outside of Nebraska!

Had an amazing dinner from appetizers to dessert. Food was exceptional…service was top notch and manager Nate was the best! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This restaurant was so good. Very intimate but bright and friendly. The food was spectacular. Chef Laurence created the most amazing dishes. Definitely recommend the yellowtail snapper, the gnocchi, the triple tail and the beignets especially.
We had dinner here one night on our honeymoon. Everything ( food, service & ambience) was great, only knock I can give it was that black grouper was slightly over cooked. Duck was the best we ever had & the desert trio stole the show!
If you come here and don't taste the she crab soup, then you're missing out on what I consider one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten! Warm welcome and lovely service. Golden tilefish (special) and Miso Black Cod were our mains and we both enjoyed every morsel. My second visit in 3 years...I'd love to see a softened aesthetic imparted within the space to align with elevated dining experience that Marquesa offers. I imagine an update is in the plans?

WOW!! The food was amazing. My wife and I had appetizers which were enough for the meal, as well as some scrumptious desserts. We also had wine and cocktails that were outstanding. The servers were attentive without being oppressive and the ambiance was quiet so you could have a normal conversation. We'll be back next time we're in Key West.
Great dinner and overall experience for us. My wife and I went here for our 30th anniversary dinner and were not disappointed at all. We had the special fish dinner and were blown away. Will most certainly be back next time we are in KW.

Excellent. Filet (tender, perfectly cooked) and crab cake were delicious. Yellow tail fresh and delicious. Excellent service. Lively room. Quiet. We could talk with our friends. Thank You. Highly recommend.

Our server, Paul, was outstanding! The Foie Gras was the best I've had from here to California. The ambiance is “old world class”. My grouper could have been better. The person beside us had a very nice thick piece which encouraged me to order it. Mine was 2 small, thin pieces over cooked. The guys really enjoyed the swordfish. And, the beignets were “to die for”! This was our second time there and I highly recommended it

This is a unique restaurant for Key West. Beautiful interior. A fine dining, high end restaurant in Key West. There are many good restaurants in Key West, but none with such a refined menu, preparation and atmosphere. This restaurant would be good in any city in the country.

Excellent dining experience from start to finish. Delicious food and drinks with great friendly service. Only mistake was ordering a portion of key lime pie each! 1 between 2 would have been more than enough. Highly recommended.
