We tried a bit of everything. Simply amazing. Best Italian we have had in a long time. Try the meatballs!!!!Rob was a great server, Angelo and his partner were very friendly and hands on owners. Great small feel atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
3/22/24 we visited this place not knowing anything about it and ordered 3 slices of Sicilian crust pizza I don't know about the rest of their food but what we ate was the worst I have had since been in key west I mean digornos frozen pizza is better than this so if you go don't order the Sicilian crust slices very dissatisfied.

Updated 3/14/24: Definitely read my original review below because this is definitely a place to visit. However, after writing my 5* review, and two days later I called in my usual to go order, went to pick it up, walked back to hotel and opened my pizza box (with my mouth watering in anticipation) only to find that they completely torched my pizza, and still put it in the box. It was burned, dry, black crust and gross.On top of that, they didn’t even add the extra toppings to my Margarita pizza that I ordered (garlic, pepperoni, and hot cherry peppers) . . . Maybe the person who took my order didn’t enter them Into the order, or maybe the cooks just said “Nah”, but, they definitely charged me for them.I was SO disappointed in Clemente’s last night, as my mouth was watering on the walk back to my hotel. When I opened the box, my heart sank.If you order to go, make sure that you open your boxes and have a look before you leave, as now I feel they can’t be trusted to do the right thing and not throw a burned up pizza in a box and hope you don’t notice.On the upside, I had my fettuccini bolognese which was spot-on perfect, so I destroyed that and went to sleep completely full.Subtracting 1* (for what it’s worth).Shame on you guys.———-Original Review BelowI’m a self-diagnosed Pizzaholic. Work brings me to KW pretty much every month. After COVID, lots of new businesses showed up on and around Duval St. I’ve had other favorite pizza places around town over the years but stumbled on Clemente’s last year and was impressed.Wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients and super-flavorful. Great sauce, and light crust with perfect texture.I usually get a Margarita pizza with added garlic, pepperoni, and hot cherry peppers along with an order Fettuccini Bolognese.I haven’t ventured off my go-to order because they both look, and taste wonderful and I’m always 100% satisfied.I always order to go, but enjoy waiting for my order inside when it’s busy. I like watching the folks in the back by the wood fired oven cooking up everything, along with the servers moving around with yummy trays of food, and taking to go orders non-stop. You really have to visit to appreciate the size vs output, and the charm of it all.I wouldn’t recommend getting pizza or pasta anywhere else in KW - I’ve been to all them, and honestly 100% am telling you that you should start @ Clemente’s.It’s a small restaurant with limited seating g, but you can also sit outside where they’ve put a few tables.

Stopped in for dinner and scored Jennifer as a server and she was great! Such an awesome, flirty, and fun attitude and very attentive too!The menu is loaded with fun stuff we wanted to try. They have a Very Nice Italian wine list too. We started with bubbles and then moved on to a bottle, both were great!We then moved to their grilled Romain salad, which was tasty and fresh.Finally, our pizza was their meatball pizza and the meatballs were tasty! The crust was excellent! The sauce was great too! We definitely enjoyed the pizza and will return!

Do not miss Clemente’s when in Key West. You’ve had your seafood and fun around Duval now stop for amazing pizza and even better all around Italian food in a small locally owned cozy spot on Fleming. The burreta appetizer was spectacular and don’t think a single thing on the plate is garnish. The little tomatoes and peppers are heaven and the lettuce very fresh. We then had the blush sauce with spicy sausage and chicken Marsala. My husband couldn’t stop so we ordered a pizza to go! The sausage really is special and the blush sauce is so good. We also had excellent wine and the first time we went we had the blueberry ricotta cake that was to die for.
