My husband tried the chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick. The experience was the best sample of pie in Key West. The slice was very generous. The chocolate coating was rich and delicious and the crust superbEvery bite was a delightI opted for a sample of the key lime ice cream. It was heaven on a spoon. The ice cream even had bits of pie crust in it.I WISH I was not too full from dinnerGuess I’m going to have to go back for a full portion

We wanted Key Lime Pie in Key West, and I read some posting that mentioned Mattheessen's. When I walked into the store, I almost forgot about the pie as I saw the cookies, fudge, and ice cream! The Key Lime Pie at Mattheessen's is deelish (despite the difficulty I'm having typing out the store's name...lol). It is not too tart and goes well with whipped cream (ALWAYS say yes to whipped cream). If you are Jonesing for Key Lime Pie, go to Mattheessen's!
