Pepe’sCafé in Key West, Florida, deserves every star for serving the best black bean soup I've ever had. The rich, velvety texture and robust flavor of their soup are unparalleled. Each spoonful is a symphony of savory goodness that warms the soul. Coupled with their charming atmosphere and top-notch service, Pepe Café is a culinary gem not to be missed. Five stars without a doubt!
We did a day trip to Key West. Stopped at the visitors center in Key Largo and received coupons for free key lime pie at Pepe’s. We decided to go for a late dinner and it was absolutely amazing!! The yellowtail snapper special was delicious and so was the key lime pie. Our server, Marvin, was so friendly and attentive. This place is a must try!!

We had a great dinner—steak and pork chops were both out of this world, incredibly flavorful. Add in the ambiance of the oldest restaurant in Key West and it was a great evening. Next day, though, we realized we’d left our credit card at the restaurant. After throroughly panicking for a few minutes, we stopped by Pepe’s and they had our card!
