I loved everything about this restaurant, the ambiance, the food, the service was outstanding and Ben took such great care of us! We will definitely make this one of our favorite places in Key West.

We were given the happy hour recommendations from our Hyatt Windward staff and the restaurant did not disappoint! We have traveled extensively and these were some of the best bar bites we have ever had. The salmon bites and lamb lollipops were seasoned so well; delicious. The dessert we had was not overly sweet, but a complex mix of flavors. Shout out to the staff who waited on us from Hungary; very attentive and professional.

Do not be deceived this is a hotel restaurant. We had a really great meal! But thought beachside would be beachside! No You are in a dark restaurant. The hotel has a small beach around the corner!

We had a delightful time at Tavern N Town. Arrived early and wonderful hostesses mentioned a happy hour tapas menu... how could I say no?!? We sat at the high tops which provided a great view of the main dining room. The atmosphere was upscale yet cozy. Service was top notch! Our server, Ben, was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. The sticky ribs from their happy hour menu were cooked to perfection. My better half thought the giant meatball was to die for, will have to try next time! Prices were reasonable for the quality and the setting. Definitely a gem in Key West and we'll be visiting again.

We came to Tavern N Town to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful place! The menu was exceptional from small plates (steamed buns) to pizza to prime rib and seafood, and house-made desserts. Food was served promptly and piping hot. Plus, my entree was free on my birthday. One of my best birthday experiences!

Definitely on the more expensive side, but some things are definitely worth the price. The wagyu was cooked just right, at medium. For dessert I definitely recommend the pistachio cake, unless you are allergic to nuts of course. The waiter recommended to get medium for the wagyu because medium rare or below would be chewy, and he was right! Medium was perfect, not chewy at all, and very tender. Overall, the typical high end restaurant, very delicious, with polite waiters.

We were first to arrive for happy hour. 20 minutes early so they wouldn't let us in. Sat down in hotel lobby to wait. People then lined up in front of us and by the time we got in, there were no seats left at the bar and they wouldn't serve us so we left. The bartender who wouldn't let us in should have told us that we needed to wait there by the door in order to get seats. Very disappointing. Will not return.

Really great walk-in experience here, on a Monday early evening. We sat at the bar although there would have been open tables. We loved the bar staff, Roman especially was a hoot and a great bartender. Service was exceptional all around, when asked the bartender about a specific bottle of wine, they sent out the resident ‘wine expert’ who (although not a sommelier) made a great suggestion for a bottle. We had just an exceptional meal! The wagyu strip steak was phenomenal, as were the very large scallops (altho I believe there were only 3 on the plate, my bf said he could have eaten 10 of them!). We shared 3 of the very large sides: asparagus, whipped potatoes, and Brussel sprouts. All super tasty, although of all the elements of the meal, the sides did not live up to the mains. Very minor complaint though.Everyone was friendly and laid-back. Some folks were dressed for dinner but many were in casual, beachy clothes. I rated down 1 star for the fact that the fire alarm went off during dinner and it was very loud! Staff seemed to be indicating that it happens often. Also, altho I appreciate having a live musician, I might have preferred a different music vibe. Just me.We had among the most expensive things on the menu and a bottle of wine and got out of there, with a generous tip, for about $250. Not bad for a casual yet upscale meal in Key West. Highly recommend.

Saw an advertisement at the airport for free entree on your birthday. We are in town for my birthday, and booked accordingly. The restaurant called the morning of to confirm our reservation, at which time my husband stated that it was my birthday. The representative replied they were aware (it was an option to note when making the reservation). That said, my birthday was not acknowledged at all. After taking our drink and appetizer orders, the waiter said he would bring us bread shortly. That never arrived. The best thing I ate that night was the French onion soup. I ordered the prime rib, let's just say the Brussels sprouts were the star of that show. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and the entree special (sirloin cap). I will say his steak had much more flavor than my prime rib. Even though they did honor the free birthday entree after reminding the waiter of the occasion with presentation of the check. The entire experience was mediocre at best. Feedback during the experience was not really an option, as the waiter was virtually absent after taking the orders. The food was delivered by other staff ( which I know is a normal occurrence ); however , no one checked back on us until the meal was over.

The service was incredible we had plenty of appetizers and they all came within time and the unlimited bread was a no brainer not to mention they didn't refill my water to much but they did it enough times I stayed hydrated and not to mention the food is INCREDIBLE!!! Best burger I have ever had and the scallopes were delightfully delicious, not to mention the fries were killer, and last but not least the bar area was a little loud but we were lucky seated in the back and it was calm and the voices and plates clinging were comforting, great ambiance. All around great dinner spot!!!

Our family of 5 had a great experience . The food was outstanding and the service was great. We had : charcuterie board, French onion soup, steak, Parmesan chicken, and catch of the day. Everything was delicious. The steak was outstanding. Our server, Raif , was very friendly and attentive. Strongly recommend this place.
