“AMAZING!!!! Had dinner as a last minute decision, and we were completely impressed with Barracuda Grill. We all had the special, lobster scallop and shrimp linguini. Salads were great, entrees were top notch, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice boutique shop with everything from dresses to glassware, from luxury brands. Felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the other cheap knick knack shops. We stopped in to break up our drive and grabbed a bite to eat. I got the pasta salad which had fresh veggies (broccolini and bell peppers). We also ventured into the resort bar with a beautiful white beach.”

“We absolutely loved this place! The Ropa is the best we’ve ever had. I also recommend the tostones (the sauce is unique and delicious) and the Cuban sandwich. Definitely would love to eat here again!”

So was the Key Lime Pie. My new "hundred dollar hamburger" destination in the Keys. Looking forward to the next visit.”

“Absolutely amazing dinner! From the service to the appetizer to the drinks and dinner! I will definitely be back. Our server was Elizabeth, she was super sweet and knew how to explain/recommend the dishes. I drank the Billionaire Margarita (delicious) and my husband ordered a wine bottle. I had the lobster tails with mashed potatoes and broccolini it was to die for. I will definitely come back and I enjoyed my dinner very much!”

“This place was so great! We were visiting from Houston, TX and at Sombrero Beach for the day. Looked up “best ice cream in Marathon” and this place did not disappoint! Seriously some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had. The Key Lime Pie ice cream was phenomenal. We will definitely be back!”

“Love this place! We’ve been coming here many times throughout the years and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food! Our ONLY issue here has been one specific, rude waitress. Today was the 2nd time we’ve had her as our waitress. First time (last year) she attended our families, we noticed she was rude, but gave her the benefit of the doubt, figuring she was having a bad day. But today, she was being extremely rude, unprofessional and seemed annoyed. She treated our kids poorly and treated the adults like kids. I’d still recommend this place, but please be aware not to have TANIA as your waitress!”

“This place was phenomenal if I could give it a 20/10 I would. My bartender Sabby was exceptional and she’s so pretty and charming my Husband and I couldn’t stop laughing! Her hospitality is amazing. Everyone at the bar was treated so nice and kindly by her. I wanted something sweet so She recommended chocolate espresso martini , and it was mouth watering with a hint of orange. Ugh! Yummy! It’s my new favorite drink. My husband had the old cuban and it was absolutely tasty. We had the guava pineapple burnt ends and two coffee rub New York strips with goat cheese mashed potato’s ! I love their approach to AG and sourcing and seeking everything locally it genuinely makes my heart so happy for all small business and local farmers.”

“Had a good meal tonight. Ordered the broiled mahi. Very good but a very SMALL portion for what you pay. My son had the sirloin steak which he said was very good. Had key lime pie which was a bit on the sour side and more like a pudding. All in all was a good visit. Staff was good and accommodating.”

“It felt like sitting on an exclusive deck of a spectacular cruise ship. There are both comfy seating areas, very classy wood and cushioned chairs and couches, with umbrellas... as well as table and chairs for more practical dining.We went there for breakfast as part of our stay at Grassy Flats resort. The food is excellent, just like Rhum House, same cooks, same chefs. It can get very overwhelmed with people in the morning, which is why I didn't give it a 5 for service. It isn't like they didn't try, but while we were there, they got a rush for breakfast and it took a while. The days we were able to order breakfast from the Rhum House, due to higher winds the service was excellent! The pictures come from our breakfast at Rhum House, but the menu is the same.The two most spectacular dishes for breakfast were a fruit tray that was so gorgeous to behold, and the yogurt bowl that was sprinkled with chocolate and honey. Avocado toast was excellent, so I heard (I'm gluten sensitive so I didn't get to try it). Coffee was good, and endless. Mai Tais were also available that day, as our favorite bartender was on duty and it wasn't too busy. It was well worth the deviation from our normal breakfast.On the day we had breakfast on the Palm Deck, it was too busy to ask for a Mai Tai, and the bartender on duty didn't know how to make them the same way. Food was a little slow, but they were slammed with one server on. The food quality was excellent.Vegetarian options: The fruit salad is to die for, as is the avocado toast see pictures. I believe there were also cereals (I can't eat them so I don't' know).Dietary restrictions: I am gluten sensitive and there were many options for me. Vegan and vegetarian needs can also be met.Kid-friendliness: We had our 2 year old nephew and he had a great time. They provided a smaller bowl of yogurt on request. We were able to walk the deck while waiting for our food. There is a lot to distract a little one with the views and the trees and birds nearby. They had high chairs easily accessible too.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking lot (though gravel) to huge elevator, to front door.”

“This place is by far the best for locals and visitors. We are visiting from Lewes De and I'm a full time bartender and the bartenders here are so friendly. Connie is absolutely amazing and Dave killed it during karaoke. Thank you for an amazing time while we are on vacation.”

“I stopped in for a quick drink while my family was taking a tour at the nearby turtle hospital. The bar and the adjacent area overlooking the ocean/gulf was beautiful. My bartender, Jacklyn was really nice and friendly. I saw her answer multiple people's questions about the resort and things to see and do in and around Marathon, Florida. Great beautiful relaxing place for an afternoon libation and if you're lucky maybe Jacklyn will be on duty.”

“Our server was Nara. Ten of us had dinner, and they accommodated us very well. I would encourage reservations. I had the scallop risotto, the conch chowder and the crème brûlée. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. We all enjoyed ourselves.”

“Although still undergoing renovations, the outdoor (under cover) seating was lovely. We had a pre-sunset reservation but the exposure of the venue was towards the north and the setting sun was mostly obscured by the trees on the west edge of the dining area. However, the setting sun did perfectly light up the lighthouse itself during sunset - making for a very nice photo opp. Our server, Katy, was awesome !! Very helpful and informative with a great personality - would ask to be seated with her again for sure. We shared the Chopped Salad which we found to be excellent. The Mahi special dinner and the Prime Rib (16 oz) were cooked to perfection and delicious. We would just critique both dishes as lacking in presentation. Both were more than adequate in the protein portion size and while the Prime Rib was accompanied by au jus, horse radish and mashed potatoes it would have benefited greatly from the addition of even a small addition of a green vegetable, like a few spears of asparagus or green beans. Likewise the Mahi was surrounded by more quinoa blend than one would expect. Cucumber slices adorned the quinoa, some topped with half cherry tomatoes and some with tomato pieces. Again, this dish would have greatly benefitted from the addition of even a small portion of a green vegetable. To finish, we shared a very nice sized slice of Key Lime pie, which favored being a little more sweet than tart, accompanied by some berries and whipped cream. All in all a very nice dining experience!”

“It was our first time eating there,,service was lacking a lot,,we had to ask for refills, she did leave a pitcher of water then. We ordered the lasagna dinner that comes with a side salad so we ordered another regular salad since we were splitting the meal. The side salad was pitiful, it came on a coffee saucer it looked like,the regular salad was a good size. For $24 the side salad should have been the same size as the extra salad. She brought our food and we sat there waiting on the bread,,,she comes back by and informed us bread was extra,,,really, I’ve never had a meal at any restaurant where you had to pay extra for bread, most will bring you more if you eat what they served you the first time. The upside was the lasagna was good.”
