So upset to be writing this but I’m disgusted. I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and I’ve taken many people to this restaurant whenever they’re in town however. Yesterday I had spent hours in the ER (I’m 8months pregnant) I wasn’t hungry but my other half said I should eat something plus he was starving from standing outside the hospital for hours. On route home we stopped and ordered massaman curry, beef tips, crispy lobster roll, Tom kha soup and Thai teas. By the time we got home I was beyond exhausted so we put the food in the fridge still all sealed and in the brown bag we’d picked it up in. Fast forward tonight we start unpacking the food so we can eat. Obviously starters first. Tom kha soup. We heated it in the microwave in the original plastic container after taking the plastic wrap off. I was stirring the soup and about to taste it to see if it was hot enough and there’s a long wavy black hair in the soup wrapped around a mushroom. I almost threw up. Again 8months pregnant and on meds from yesterday. Called the restaurant cause usually the staff who serve are friendly. Had a few rude encounters where I’ve had an issue with food and they haven’t taken it off the bill but other than that in general, all good. Asked for the manager the young girl told me to tell her what was wrong and she’d tell the manager. She comes back and says. “The manager said you’re too late so she won’t do anything for you” are you kidding. Clearly extra hygiene standards aren’t being adhered too especially during a pandemic if there’s hair in my food. Let me add my other half is bald and I have locs in my hair. Had the manager apologized or offered any kind of solution I wouldn’t be writing this review but our order wasn’t cheap and I’ve been a customer for years. I will never go back or take clients, friends etc and I’m going to report them to the city and pass the hair over so they can figure out who it belongs too cause there’s not a hope it magically climbed into a paper bag, plastic wrapped plastic container or that I would have called Siam for no reason. We’re putting the whole meal in the trash now cause I’m guessing the same person cooked them and if you don’t have a clean kitchen then I’m not eating the food. Disappointed and so done. Now time to cook my own meal I guess
