The food is great, but it doesn't feel like you should be eating here. As a restaurant, something is off. The food is exceptional but the place is too dark. You literally need your phone light to read the menu, and I hate having phones out at a restaurant. It takes away from the experience. And last night they had live music - but the venue is too small for that! Love love love this place. Being coming to the Gibson for a while, one of our favorite places to unwind. Although they have changed the bar tenders, still the cocktails are on point. Phil was our mixologist, super warm personality, he remembered us from last visit and gave us a very nice welcoming. he made us some new cocktails that were delicious. The food is amazing, highly recommend the tamal in cazuela with foie gras

Great spot! Very loungy and eclectic. My friends commented how it reminded them of a New York lounge/speakeasy. The piano playing was wonderful. I had the Gibson martini with vodka, spectacular. The food was delicious, from the “bar bites” like the wahoo crudo to the duck foie gras sausage and cantimpalo chorizo in the charcuterie board. And omg the bread!! Wow! Delicious! We plan on returning often.
