I know because their lawyer contacted me! ~frown~ I've been wanting to try Brix 33 for some time. It was a Saturday evening when i arrived and the restaurant was full. I took a place at the bar and ordered a Taken For Pomegranate ($12). It's pictured. TAKEN FOR POMEGRANATE A Martini made with Stoli Orange Vodka, Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, & Cranberry Juice. Tasty and refreshing on a warm night. My bartender was very attentive to me. I saw on the menu a limited time chef special so I decided on the Pork Risotto ($25). For those who do not know, a risotto is made with short-grain rice varieties, which tend to be high in starch and create that sticky, creamy texture you're looking for in risotto. It came in 20 minutes and I dug in. The rosotto was perfectly done and the pork was delicious. Sorry I forgot to take a pic. I also had a Beefeater and tonic ($8). The bill came to $48 and I tipped the bartender $10. I spoke to the co-owner Cindy who told me her chef was professionally schooled in New Hampshire if i remember correctly. I cooked in three restaurants but never went to The Pittsburgh School of Culinary Art like I wanted to but i know the basics. Cindy has managed to turn this restaurant into a success and I can't wait to come back and try it again. It's intimate and cozy and on this night had a lady named Amy Lynn playing soft music and gentle, soothing singing. The restroom is located in the rear and was neat and clean. I understand they have quite a wine selection to go with any dish they serve. I see it as a great place to bring a date or your family. Now I see why Brix 33 was named one of the best restaurants in the area. You can go business casual or dress up in a tie as I did. ********************************************* BIG UPDATE: 5 STARS AGAIN! I went back to Brix 33 for a Bucatini pasta and i'm telling you the sauce is to die for. My server Vicky gave me warm bread and seasoned oil and a glass of ice water to start. The Bucatini arrived within the industry standard of 15 to 18 minutes good and hot and it was delicious. Bucatini is the thin pasta that is like a tiny pipe. The pasta was done al dente and was of very good quality. It comes with a crispy breadstick. Check out the pic. My dish came with three large scallops and quite a few tasty medium large shrimp and crab mixed in but the star of the show was the garlicy sauce. It's Heaven in a bowl. Brix gives you enough that you are full when you finish. I came on Tuesday when they have some items 20% off which is very cool. Some of the dishes come with a complimentary side though my dish did not. My Bucatini was under $30 that day and i tipped Vicky $6. I'm going back for the Chicken Marsala. The chef they have is a keeper. I recommend Brix 33 and will be back for more great food.“

“The first time we were here, Steven was our waiter. We could tell he was reletively new so of course being an ex-wait staff myself, we were extremely nice for him. To our surprise he was phenomenal. We have been back four times now & each time we had to sit with Steven. The food is Great here and I recommend coming here often. “Ever since we moved down from New York, I thought finding a really good Chinese takeout was never going to happen, but one day a fella from Boston told me about this China Wok so I decided to try them out and I have been going back ever since. The food is excellent tasty and the service is quick and polite. So for me no more stressing Chinese takeout. Now all I gotta do is find the really good pizza place and I'll be sad. Lol. Dumplings crab dragons were on point Family all enjoyed the general Taos , chicken, orange - chicken, chicken, and garlic sauce. The Lo mein with vegetables or pork are very good as well. Honestly, I haven't ordered anything from them, that's been subpar They have a large menu as well! So if you're looking for a good Chinese takeout do yourselves a favor and give them a try. “After an exhaustive search for a venue that would accommodate a 40-50 person birthday party for my wife’s 50th, we VERY fortunately choose Rossi’s. Other venues ghosted us, couldn’t accommodate anything over 30 people or were difficult to work with. Rossi’s, on the other hand, went out of their way to convey to us that they were willing to do whatever we needed in order to make her milestone birthday a success. There’s nothing like knowing a restaurant is excited about you coming to celebrate at their place. They created a special menu with dinner offerings of our choice and even set up the decorations we delivered to them. Bringing an outside cake was no problem with them. The food came out hot and delicious. We had several guests say they wanted to come back because the food was so good. They LOVED being able to eat their delicious pizza as an appetizer, as Rossi’s cut the pizza into appetizer sized slices. I seriously could write several paragraphs about how great the experience was at Rossi’s but I think you get the idea. So if you are planning a special event, head straight to Rossi’s and you will not regret it.“
