been here before so maybe not a great night for them; had to send my food back twice to get it cooked properly; my friend ordered an app and a main and both were brought at the same time. And then it was hard to get anyone's attention to send the food back. no, “how is everything?” once we got dinner it was pretty good. but if i can grill a steak perfectly every time why can't a restaurant?

Food was excellent. We had the shrimp appetizer with a hot and spicy cocktail. Hubby had beef with potatoes and I had penne a la vodka. Service was great.... Friendly staff. Cool vibe... the music was not our style and a bit loud but fine overall.

Appetizers and adult meals were all very good. We had the cod and rigatoni chicken and meatballs. The kids meals of salmon and chicken nuggets were kind of bland. Nobody cared for it. The waiter was attentive and friendly but the host not so much. Acted as if we were bothering him with our party of 8.

Have been here a few times enjoyed everything we ordered. Friends who went with us also enjoyed. We had an assortment of entries. Service was great even on a Saturday night while crowded.

My wife and I enjoy the over experience. The noise level is high but there is plenty of people watching. My wife had Salmon and she gave me a thumbs up, I had a burger and it was good as well! We will be back.

Great wine list with a menu that can accommodate everyone's favorite dishes. Service was outstanding and the acoustics are amazing. Unlike many restaurants, you can talk across the table and not need to yell. A hidden gem in Palm Beach Gardens. JMAC

I’ve been to Waxins 5 times now so I do have experience. First off- the food is great, always consistently good. However that is not the entire experience for me. We went on a Tuesday at 5pm (out of season). We were told their happy hour was removed a few weeks prior. Why? It’s out of season with loyal locals only. Anyway, they have no smaller plates or sides. They used to have delicious tuna or buffalo salad for $9 + a whole menu of other options (smaller portions which I prefer to try an assortment). Now they have the same salad full size for $20+. I prefer to try many smaller dishes, this place forces you to get only an entree unless you have a party of people or ridiculous money because that brings me to my second point. I ordered a Tito’s & club soda. It was normal size probably exactly 1 oz of liquor and $17/each. Let me remind you this restaurant is in a strip mall in Palm Beach Gardens. In summary, I deduct 2 points for the lack of smaller plates, side options, happy hour, outrageous drink prices, and removing the happy hour during off season for locals. I won’t be back anymore and I no longer would recommend this to my peers. Bill was $150 for 2 people; we had 2 drinks, 2 shots, 1 taco, 1 pasta, fries.

Dined outside with Friends. This was our second visit. Needless to say, it leads to quiet conversation. No shouting is necessary. Outstanding Tuna Tartare with flash fried Kale, and green apple cubes...yikes...it was great. and loved the black truffle linguini. During our visit, My wife had the Toast Skagen (small shrimp in mayo, lemon dill, etc. On our first visit. I had the Baked Cod...great. Additionally, they have a very fine dessert menu.

Food was amazing and the service on point! It was my birthday and they really went overboard trying to accommodate our entire table of 7. Highly Recommended for ambience, value and food.

I am of Swedish ancestry and had a great talk with Waxin founder Patrick and his wife about my great grandfather coming over from Forslav Sweden in 1907. Guest top bartender Sante (also my GGF's name) in town from Stockholm made me a blueberry gin-tonic (with Swedish gin). Delicious surf/turf gourmet Swedish cuisine recommended by Patrick. At one point, I think I heard my GGF's spirit say Skål (which is cheers in Swedish). Noooo that was the bartender saying that!

Like Waxin's a lot! Food is very good, the service left nothing to be desired. The night we went out was a perfect evening to sit outside. We'll go back again and again.

We always have a great experience at Waxin's!! Sam gave us wonderful service and the food was delicious as always! We enoyed Friday night chicken. Arugula salad and smokey dessert! We also love the Tuna and Filet!

It was supposed to be a little date night with my husband and it turned out into a very good fine dining experience: service, food and wine were just fabulous! We totally recommend it. We will be back again for sure.
