“My expectations were truly exceeded. This is not your typical sushi joint. The chef there definitely is building their dishes with love and care. They seem to use real crab meat wherever you would normally have “sea leg” and every single item in our order was delicious, super fresh, prepared uniquely, and reasonably priced. And it’s delivered! “Really like the pan con bifsteak. The house made potato sticks/julienne/sticks are delicious & waaaay better than the stuff from a can usually used. The rice & the black beans were very good and the maduros were cut into smaller pieces the one usually find. The interior is clean but minimalist. The only draw back is ordering ahead is poor English skills and my minimal Spanish. But it's always gotten worked out and my order has always been correct. I've been back several times and it has been consistent.”

“I came here to get food after blod donation. I ordered the birria tacos 2 straight Saturdays. I like the birria tacos from other places and these are just as good. I ordered a shrimp taco last week 2/17/24 and I ordered an al pastor tack 2/24/24. Overall the food is good as well ”

“I’m pretty much a weekly regular at the hole, generally for beers with my my friends…had the wings a couple times (excellent) but last week, I had a Mahi Reuben…it was outstanding. I specifically got the chef’s attention and told him as much….was it a one off? I came back a week later and ordered it again. It certainly did NOT disappoint. There was no shortage of fresh mahi….it was actually hanging out the side of the sandwich! It was hot, spiced perfectly and delicious. Well done boys! Looking forward to trying something else on the menu…and I’m sure I one disappointed. Highly recommend!”

“The atmosphere is take away only. The delicious food. What I didn't like was the page to order the food. It gives you promotions and when you enter the page you cannot request that promotion. Why are you taking them off the menu? The guys are very friendly”

“an old churches chicken restaurant building. not a family style setting more of a take out, they do have small tables and television. quality of food was great, alot of items on menu not available at this location. they have parking, drive up window for preordered items, not the safest location after hours, perrine near homestead ave.”
