“Wow! What a restaurant. Here visiting from Denver. We were drawn in by the outside aesthtics of rhe place and the upbeat mediterranian music. Little did we know the food would be amazing. Very different frim mt experience at other med reataurants. We had the gem salad, lamb sausage, snapper kabob, and baklava. All were fresh, very tasty and good portion size. I have never tasted a gem salad before, it was delicious! Fresh , light, very good lemony dressing. I highly rexommend this place!“

“Cecelia’s Sweets and Vampire Penguin is a family owned and operated desert and snack store located just off of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg with another Vampire Penguin location in Seminole, Florida. Their award winning shaved snow is unlike anything we’ve ever had before and we were already fans of the Vampire Penguin in Seminole before we tried their downtown St. Pete location!We were greeted by a very sweet young lady as well as Cecelia’s daughter and we’re excited to find that this location offered some additional items like house-made freeze dried candy, gourmet popcorn, cookies, delicious premium ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone, soft drinks, floats, warm pretzels, and even non-dairy and low sugar options on their small sized snow desserts! The restaurant is super cute with bright decor, friendly service, bar style seating and even a water bowl for your fur kids just outside the door! They have a cute Instagramable wall and the bathroom was well kept and clean.We ordered a warm salted Pretzel with their honey mustard dip which was delicious! I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream in a cone and my husband ordered the stunning Polar Affogato - Coffee and Vanilla flavored snow, surrounded by Chocolate Brownie chunks, drizzled in Chocolate sauce and topped with fresh Whipped Cream dusted with Coco Powder. It was mind blowing!We will 100% be returning to Cecilia’s for the wonderful treats and fabulous customer service! Next time, I hope to bring my fur kid for their Bow Wow Wow canine friendly snow made of fruit snow and drizzled with Peanut Butter sauce.“

Schnitzel and chicken tenders, fries, and coleslaw, chicken salad sandwich... fresh, not frozen, and dumped in the fryer.Coleslaw was mixed with small cuts of Mandarines. First time I tried it that way. “The first time we ate at The Frog Pond we knew we would be back as regulars. Their homemade strawberry jam is fantastic - definitely ask for a side of that with your toast! The breakfast sausage is amazing as is their Eggs in a Pan dish. It’s by far my favorite thing on the menu. The staff and manager, Josh, are also fantastic. Always great service and they were so wonderful with our 2 year old every time we came in.“

“A full blown date night restaurant in my opinion—delicious food, friendly service. Full bar and drink selection. We had appetizers, burger/entree, dessert and everything we ordered was great. What I like since their reopening is that it is less cafe and more full dining. I am not a vegan, and all of the alternative ingredients used tasted great and I did not feel like I was missing out on any flavor based on the absence of animal products. The parking was easy, they brought us a high chair, and my toddler was thrilled with the side Mac and cheese (he is extremely picky). They also have changing stations in the bathroom for little ones. Looking forward to coming back to try brunch!“

“This afternoon I joined 22 friends for High Tea at Jack's. The food was better than the High Teas I had in England. Perhaps this is due to them making everything in house: fresh baked bread for the finger sandwiches, puff pastries with cream and jam, rum spiked fruit cake...all delicious. If you've never been to England, and still want the authentic experience, gather some friends and arrange with Jack's for a delightful afternoon of tea, food and conversation.“

“Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.“

“I have to laugh a bit following our recent visit to 3 Daughters. We figured it must be crowded because of the scarcity of parking. As luck would have it…her perhaps the fact that I’ve just been living right…we got a spot right in front of the west entrance, which we figured was the way in.

Inside it was tiny, dark, and, well, not all that crowded. We were scratching our heads for a bit, until we ordered some lunchables and once our buzzer went off, I was told to go out one door, turn left, and then head into another space where I would see the food counter.

Okie dokie, I thought. But once I did that, my jaw dropped, because it’s like one of those crazy recurring dreams in which you keep discovering there’s a massive hidden room in your house. True story. There’s a huge beer room complete with stage, merch, bar, and, as per instructions, a food counter.

I took a few snaps and texted them to my wife, expressing my amazement. “Girl, grab our beverages and come here! This is where the party is!”

So we found new seats close to the tap handles (we smart like that), ordered more food, spent a ton of dough on merch, and left knowing that we will definitely be back on the next St Pete beer run. This place is amazing.

I almost forgot the most important part, the beer! I did a flight containing Circle Hooked Hazy, the Kölsch, Summer Daze Pale Ale, and Florida Orange IPA. This was a rare 4-for-4 among the many flights I have swigged across the nation. I ordered up a pint of the Summer Daze, which chased the veggie tacos I had ordered. My wife had a chicken sando, and her white wine was an excellent pairing.Carry on. You know what to do. Skip the “frunchroom” as we said back North, and head for the playroom.“

“This is such a great little spot that not enough people know of, but everyone will fall in love with. Great wine and beer selection. Multiple wine tastings a month, with such amazing and knowledgeable people. This definitely becomes your "Cheers" bar. They remember you, you remember everyone. Overall the best little bar you can go to.“

“Quality Hot Dogs ! Great Customer Service! OPen Area seating that is outside of the Home Depot. The great taste of the hot dogs are addictive. The spicy Italian Sausage is superb and huge. The variety of hot dogs is great and the fact that they are grilled opposed to boiling increases the flavor profile. The prices are so reasonable and they offer cold drinks and snacks.
