Great place for Karaoke! I was visiting from Chicago, googled “karaoke near me tonight” and this gem popped up. Four of us grabbed a quick Uber from midtown. We knew from hello that this would be a great spot. Super friendly crowd, with chairs set up for (wait for it) actual listening. Michael the KJ is a true professional. He rides sound levels from his iPad for each singer, making everybody sound terrific! He is all about the crowd having a great time and supporting one another. There was great talent in the room, but the vibe was one of mutual support. Toss in a super-friendly bartender, a beautifully tuned sound system, a great KJ, and an enthuastic, diverse crowd and you have a recipe for a great time! I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!

Red Light Cafe is a great place. One of the long-standing live venues in Atlanta. I love the Wednesday night jazz jams, as well as the singer-songwriter nights once a month. The owners Micheal and Ellen are awesome. I usually try to see Ellen behind the bar. She’ll recommend a nice seasonal beer. Definitely check this place out. Come for the jazz on Wednesday, it’s the best show in town.
