Just not like Pho, I am used to. The broth was too tangy with lime. If I want lime, l should be able to do that. Hardly any beans sprouts, jalapeno, and basil served with my soup. The waitress was fantastic, the soup was only meh. Not very hot. And beef was served cooked already. My husband didn't want to try Pho, so he had a Bon Mei sandwich (?) without toppings, and he said the beef had a sour taste too. I guess it's a thing here. Like I said, it's not my taste, and I have eaten a lot lot of Pho.

The food was GREAT, other than the Crab Rangoon, very overcooked, very little filling inside, we were very disappointed with our appetizer. I wish our server would have noticed how over cooked they were & had them fixed before serving to us. Our meals were FANTASTIC! Great flavors! Will definitely return.

Early dinner on Saturday, before peak times. Very happy with our order, adding this to our return to list in downtown Boise.

The pho broth is absolutely delicious if not sliiiightly too sweet. I think all but one of the pho options were gluten-free. The beef brisket pho was delicious. The vibe is nothing special, and the server forgot about it for a moment, but it was a Saturday evening. They do run out of certain dishes (we got the last two beef briskets at 7pm on a Saturday, so keep that in mind when timing your visit).

It was a perfect day for chicken pho! Cloudy and cold was today's weather and it was only appropriate to eat a big bowl of pho. We ordered the fried spring rolls. It only came out with 2 pieces of lettuce. We did grab more. Our phos came out nice and hot! It felt good eating that first hot bite! Plenty of Basil, jalapeno, sprouts and lime given. Overall, our food was good. Service was ok. A good spot to come downtown if you want a hot bowl of goodness.

I never ever leave food reviews, except for today. My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night and it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is small but not too small, pleasant atmosphere and aroma, and very clean. Our server was exceptional, service was wonderful and the food was delicious and cheap for the portions served. There are gluten free and vegetarian options as well for people with dietary restrictions. Best pho I've ever had. Will definitely be coming again.Vegetarian options: Veggie soup broth, tofu and veggies available instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: Almost all the pho menu options are gluten free, and there is a veggie soup broth as well for people avoiding animal products. The vegetarian pho with fried tofu was so good. Boyfriend loved the classic beef pho which is gluten free.

I’ve been coming here since 2012. I’m excited to say I’ve been a fan for YEARS! Best pho I’ve ever had and I’ve had it across many towns and states. Best of the best of the best! I live in Pocatello now and we still drive to Boise for the pho at this location!!!

5 STARS! Pho Nouveau has outstanding Vietnamese food in a great location at heart of downtown Boise. The lemongrass chicken is fantastic and everything on the menu is always fresh and delicious. Alyssa does a marvelous job running the front of house and providing excellent service. A must see in Boise!

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it! It's a smaller restaurant with limited seating but we were able to get sat right away! Our server was friendly and checked in but, overall, just let us eat our food! We ordered the Shrimp Fresh Summer Rolls and they were delicious! The peanut sauce is perfect! This was my first time having pho, their beef pho was delicious! I will definitely be revisiting again!

This is the sweetest Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Bun Bo Hue should never ever be this sweet and made me feel nauseated. I never expect BBH from a restaurant to taste like homemade but it should be similar. I honestly thought maybe they accidentally mixed the sugar for the salt but I found another review stating the food was sweet too. The beef was tender and helped the dish. The sweet and sour soup was also too sweet. Scale back on the sugar by 75% and I think the food can be redeeemed.
