“The Local was a nice surprise. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by the server and the manager. The promptly gave me a bottle of chilled water, a glass, menus, and told me about the specials.I am only marking them down, because my crispy fish tacos were on the mushy side. I think this is because they became so busy at 1PM out of no where, and my tacos sat in the service window a little to long. I will go back and try again.“

“Steelers bar! Crowd was small. Room in back where browns fans hang out. Wierd dynamic with browns fans and Steelers fans in same bar. Bar tenders were great. For the most part a friendly welcoming group. One group of locals who ruined it for a few visiting fans. Inwould recommend it.“

The Sapphire Room, with its blend of live, soulful music, and a promising menu, not only provided a feast for our ears but also teased a future culinary adventure that we eagerly anticipate exploring during subsequent visits. “Huckleberry in all the things. Amazing food and milkshakes. 100% Boise tradition I'd take over In N Out any day. Going there always makes my dad tell the story to the drive through attendant that he used to come there every time growing up after baseball practice. “

Nice little menu and a happy hour menu.Parking: Few spots around back but very pedestrian friendly area. Many crosswalks. Enjoy strolling the area.“

“The Modern Hotel is a true Boise spot, with one of the better, more unique, more high-end and innovative food and drink offerings, and also a great spot for events.With an indoor dining area, as well as an outdoor dining area with firepits, and where some musical and performance events are held, it is a cheerful spot, tucked away in downtown Boise, that you might not find out about for a few trips in.Absolutely worth a spot: Always check in on the drink specials, and soak up the great design, presentation, and friendly staff.“

Anyways pretty solid overall!Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options, but not a lot.Dietary restrictions: There are Gluten free options!Parking: Hard to find parking inside the plaza near The Yard House, but it’s also difficult to find some outside in the Village Plaza Parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with smaller versions of the food they serve!Wheelchair accessibility: The Yard House is on a relatively flat plaza location, so no ramps, but there is an accessibility entrance!“

“Came here because my son was graduating with a masters degree and felt he deserved a good meal. They do not take reservations (as they say in their phone message when you call) but we didn't wait long at all to be seated.Parking wasn't easy but the garage down the street was fine.Three of our party of seven arrived before the other four. We were still sat and we waited. Our waiter was very polite and kept checking on us while we waited.We ordered a couple appetizers then more when the rest arrived. The Cheeseboard was interesting. Not sure worth the cost. Chips and pico was very good!We all placed our orders and waited. Took about 20-30 minutes for the food to come.Everyone loved their food. I got the cod and chips and the fries were hot and fish was not greasy. The tartar sauce was perfect. Best I've had. Other meals ordered wereBardenay Beef DipPear Spinach Salad with shrimp.Tenderloin Mushroom PastaEverything was delicious.I would recommend this restaurant. May seem expensive but I didn't think it was overpriced at all. Well worth the costs.Parking: At the time of our visit, the paid parking garage wasn't being enforced. But there weren't very many spots at all.“

“The treasure valley chicken wars continue. Service here was stellar. The employees are friendly and engaging. At 6pm during dinner rush I had my meal fresh within ten minutes. The restaurant is clean and more modern, much like many of the other fast food areas. They do have an LED color changing counter top you can sit at which was a fun addition. I ordered the original hot chicken and one tender combo with added cheese sauce to the sandwich and a "spicy" heat lvl which was a habanero pepper sauce. Their hottest spice was a carolina reaper/scorpion pepper blend but in a dust form. The coleslaw was surprisingly really good and on the chicken sandwich was a great compliment with the heat of the habanero. The cheese sauce, I wish was a little sharper on flavor but it got the job done. The brioche bun was one of the best I've had. The crinkle cut fries and the seasoning blend they used for that was really good too. I also ordered their chocolate milk shake and it was rich and flavorful. The only complaint I have about this chicken is it lacked any crunch you expect from fried chicken tenders. All the flavors were there but it was like it was fried and then steamed under the warmer so it lost the crunch. If they can fix that, this would be a five star yelp review as they have landed everything else superbly. I will definitely be back again and next time also try the waffles on the menu :)“

“Went to Fork on Sat May 11th for an early Mother’s day. We were created unpleasantly by the hostess. She definitely is in the wrong job as she seemed inconvenienced when we asked to sit at a booth (which was also noted in our reservations) with the restaurant mostly empty. She did not hide her negativity as she seated us. My 10 year old son also went to her to ask for an extra kids play kit they offer as she only gave us 4 and we have five kids. She made sure to point to out to him that each kid only gets one….even though she miscounted so it was her mistake.After that, service was exceptional from our waitress Kat. She made the meal and was attentive and friendly!Meal was so so. We have eaten at the Fork a number of times in the past and are always pleased. This time seemed to miss the mark and was just an average meal. Not the above average they are known for. Hopefully next time will be a better overall experience.“

“food was very good would have gotten five stars but accidentally rang us up on the regular menu instead of happy hour even though we were pointing at the happy hour menu it's fine but still annoying because i would have expected them to fix that and give us happy hour price since it wasn't our mistake..... server was very kind and food was good it was just offputting that they weren't quick to try and fix things. be sure to double check you are ordering happy hour otherwise they will bring u full size and not mention it and charge you full price.“

“Great little spot!! Delicious tastings from around the world. I was impressed by their foreign wines. It is a bit pricey for a medium glass of high end wine, but everything I've ever drank here tasted fresh and unspoiled, which is crucial when dealing with uncorked wine. Restaurant staff is super friendly and fast!! Good vibes and private atmosphere with the high back couches. Food was just meh, I wouldn't recommend the Shoyu Ramen.“
