“Spanky's is a great spot to have a beer and something to eat as you speed through Illinoise. No one knows who Spanky was or is and theres lots of theories claiming wild stuff. One guy told me Spanky was actually Andre Iguodala (Golden State Warriors) but still came here after games to hang with locals. One woman thought he was an alien that came here to bring some joy to a fairly gnarly neighbourhood. Who really cares, the spirit of Spanky is what matters and the joy it brings to all. “I must say, when I first saw the Philly wagon I thought it was a mirage. Very drunk and in dire need of food the honest and hard working employees took care of me. They took me in as if I was a lost dog needing shelter. Easily the best chicken philly I have ever had. The employees name was Brandon and I've have never felt more loved than I did when eating his artwork of a sandwich. I recommend the Philly Wagon to anyone that likes food. 10/10 will tell stories to my children about the legendary meal I have just consumed.”

“Great atmosphere for a player to be able to relax and have a great time. The ladies to men ratio 3;1 the kitchen is open for appetizers while the music keeps you grooving with a fine mix of R&B Hip hop and Blues. The drinks are always happy hour prices. The whole decor and construction of the ultra-bar is a upscale scenario where as the price is not heavy on that wallet. Perfect balance the owner has pulled off. I highly recommend it. “When you approach the building, the landscaping lures you in. I came here for the high end atmosphere and top shelf cocktails. The valet parking was a nice touch. The prices are on the expensive side but it's true what they say; you get what you pay for. I recommend the rack of lamb or roasted quail. The VIP bottle service is second to none and easily #1 in St Louis. Lastly, remember, what happens at the red door, stays at the red door! I would give 6 stars if I could!!”

Service can be kinda slow because they get VERY BUSY, but it's still worth the wait I promise!!I recommend trying the pulled pork sandwich, fried okra, baked beans (nice and sweet), and the Tay's salad with house made dressing (THE ACTUAL BEST DRESSING EVER)! And any of the desserts!”
