“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.”

“Edit..we have been back since my review.The rude guy at the door is gone. Everyone is friendly and the food is beyond amazing!!Make sure if you want to try this place out, you make reservations. My friend and I decided last minute to try the restaurant out because I had read about it on line. When we arrived, we were informed that there would be a wait. I asked about seating at the bar because most places it is open seating. Let me tell you the host was so condescending that it was uncomfortable. There is no waiting area and he acted alarmed that I was going to approach the bar to get a glass of wine. He then informed us it was a 2 hour wait. After driving around forever trying to find a place to park and having much anticipation of trying Sado we just left. I rarely leave a bad review anywhere but I realize this place is new and hope they work on their customer service. I am sure the food will be amazing”

“Wonderful, expertly prepared and delicious food! Owner is very friendly and service was excellent! Try the Ashok, I think its called, leek dumplings with lentils on top, drizzled with a tasty yogurt sauce!”

“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito.My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.”

“What an absolute gem of an ice cream spot. Stopped here on a trip to St.Louis and was extremely impressed.Their signature concrete is a frozen custard with a bunch of mix-ins. I got mine with coconut, mocha, and praline. An unusual combination that tasted amazing. My cousin tried the mint mixed with Oreo and loved it. They have so many flavors and preset specialties that will keep you coming back.The oatmeal cookie ice cream cookie sandwich is also a must; the cookie itself was perfection.Love this place!”

“Terror Tacos has been in my radar for a while and we finally went last night! I didn't know it was as small as it is. There were four of us and when we got there we ended up having to sit at the high top communal table because that's all that was available. I don't like high top tables, but it was better than nothing. You can order at the counter or via QR at your table. My husband ordered our food and said the process was annoying, as did our friends. It's dark in there! People were using their phone flashlights to read the menu. And the music was loud so everyone was talking over it and it was a lot. After we ordered our food, a four top table opened up and we moved there. The cocktails came out after a little while. The food took much longer - maybe about an hour. There were people coming in for carry out orders. So even when it didn't seem there were many people in there after a while, they still had to go orders sprinkled in there. The food menu had peppers next to the menu items. The bigger the piece of pepper, the spicier. Another diner explained that to us. The tacos are a decent size. Two were plenty for me. If I were really hungry, I would maybe be able to eat two and a half. The tacos and the drinks were really good! I'd definitely go back!”

“We have made the Gyro Company our favorite place to eat. I would consider myself a gyro snob and they are the best for sure. well worth our half hour drive to eat here every day if we had to. A plus service, super clean and the best food around.”

“We were excited to try the Tavern tonight for the first time. We were a bit underwhelmed. I only got 3 scallops for a $45 entree (even Disney will give you 4 for the same price). Additionally, the fries and baked cookie had a burnt aftertaste from the oven. For $150, we thought it was significantly overpriced for what we got.”

“I've lived in Saint Louis for about a year and a half and am moving this week. I've been to iNDO 3 times since moving here. It is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I came as a final goodbye tonight and it was so bittersweet! I can't believe this place isn't rated higher on Google. Absurd. The food has layers of flavor, is interesting, fresh, and always so well done. Dishes are clearly so well thought out, with visual, textural, and flavorful elements that just scratch an itch in your brain. The quality of the sashimi is superior. I sometimes forget we're in Saint Louis because man, that is some good fish. The service also never misses, with knowledgable staff and perfect coursing of dishes. Thank you to everyone working there for giving me such fond memories!!”

“MUST VISIT IN STL! Coming from NYC, this is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to lately from the drinks, food, service, and all around vibes. They put an incredible amount of detail into everything and it shows. The craft cocktails are innovative, yet approachable, and extremely well-balanced. They also carry a unique variety of spirits on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else.One drink I especially loved and recommend is the Budgy Smuggler made with their housemade clarified milk. You can also order off the entire Yellowbelly food menu (sister restaurant next door) and every dish we tried was amazing. Get the raw and hot fried oysters, beef fat fries, lump crab fritters, elote taquitos, brussels, charred carrots, pork belly, green curry salmon, and grilled hangar steak. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were so unique.This should be a must stop if you’re in STL and also a great event space. I can’t wait to go back!”

“Visited yesterday and omg the food was delicious. I had the brisket which the cook said is new to the menu. It wasn’t dry at all. It was tender and i like they put the sauce on the side instead of drench the meat with it. My sister had the salmon croquettes and they were good too. I’ll be back but remember to make reservations for brunch or u might not be able to try it due to the crowd. The staff were nice and the place was clean. Oh and the flight of mimosa had us still talking after eating.”

If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. You will have the opportunity to sip on some spirits that are hard to find anywhere. It's wise to grab a reservation or enjoy a spot at their cozy bar.”

“Great brunch @ Russell's ! The cinnamon roll is a must try. And it's huge!!!! The portion sizes are very generous, probably could have shared the BLATE. Everything was fresh and the menu had lots of variety. Definitely excited to go back and try some other dishes. Cute, clean restaurant. Indoor, outdoor, and covered patio seating. Friendly staff and the bakery items are all so tasty. I especially love the cupcakes and brownies. We went on a sunday around 10:30 without a reservation, the wait was 30 minutes but we expected it so didn't bother us.”

“This is a GREAT neighborhood restaurant! Great ambiance in the front room! Very good wine list; we thoroughly enjoyed the Manzone Gramolere Barolo. The food was excellent, and the portions quite large on the Chicken Marsala. One of the specials was Divers Scallops on a bed of risotto, and the scallops were perfectly done. Service after the entree could have been more attentive.”

“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.”

We started with freshly baked soft bread while waiting.The food was delicious. Capellini alla Zia was my favorite followed by Cannelloni. Be sure to get a reservation because this place is popular and we had to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a Saturday night. Try their pizza it's amazing.Parking: It's The Hill. very residential, narrow streets, but lots of street parking opportunities just may need to walk a little.”

I must say, this visit stands out as one of the most enjoyable fast food experiences we've had since before the pandemic. The service was speedy, courteous, and the food was scrumptious. The small team working at this location on March 10, 2024, at 1 am truly went above and beyond. They all deserve recognition and appreciation for their hard work. This Jack in the Box has now earned its place as our preferred spot for late-night munchies, and has flat-out restored our faith in the fast food industry.”

One of the workers (I didn’t get his name - he was wearing a white hat and a white apron) took care to take a meal to a man who had difficulty walking due to a back disability. “Wow! This place was soo cool. I found it via Google search for a good Cuban sandwich. I realized that I came here as a child when it was just a bar. The atmosphere is soo cool inside. The food is the best part though. The Cuban honestly did not impress me visually, but when I took a bite... oh my! The pork butt was soo good. My mom had the famous Picadilly fish. She wanted to try the Mayfair salad, but didn't want the whole salad so they made her a side salad with Mayfair dressing. They make this dressing in house and its amazing. I had a cup of Gumbo with my sandwich and it was soo good. I forgot to get a picture of it, but I have to believe it was homemade. I will definitely come back. You should come try it too.”

To find small local farmed chicken with this kind of hospitality is a true dream. We ordered the crispy chicken, spicy chicken sandwich, 1/2 chicken and all the sides. The buttermilk sauce with dill was dreamy. I need a pint to take home. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist and well seasoned. “This is what we've been waiting for! Coursed menu, elevated experience from start to finish. These young chefs is going to go far and I'm here for all of it! Located downtown, the outside isn't much to look at, but as soon as you enter, you're greeted with the modern and stylish yellow and gray decor. Counter Seating and a few Tables on the perimeter shape the room. Staff is friendly and you can tell they put so much into their Service. For this restaurant, you reserve your seat online ahead of time and pre-pay the meal. My first visit was for Brunch on 9/24, the 10a Seating. 4 courses, starting with Shrimp n Grits, then French Toast, then Asian Croissant, then Honey Cake. (See Photo of menu for details). Overall, amazing!! I added the cocktail pairing which was a Mimosa and a Coffee Martini, both excellent. My only point of feedback would be that the menu was Carb forward and really could have used an Egg or Veggie forward dish as Course 3 to break it up, but all of everything tasted amazing. The restroom, yep, it's a Vibe too and very Clean. I'm motivated to come for Dinner and will be back soon!”

Excellent food, service, and management. Much better and smarter than J. Gilbert’s who got us a bad steak and wouldn’t apologize if or replace it. They just shrugged. Looking forward to our next visit at Fleming’s despite the rather pricey price tag. At least you get what you pay for there!”

The food was delicious and plated beautifully. However, the lighting made snapping a decent photo nearly impossible it was a lesson in accepting limitations and enjoying things in the present. Loved the Thai smoked scallops, fancy butter and divine breads, the crepe lasagna dish, and the desserts. The price seems a bit high but still reasonable for the quality of food and service delivered. Definitely a worthy experience.”

“Excited to have a solid poké restaurant in downtown Maplewood now! I stopped in with a friend earlier this week and was happy to see this location has more seating available than the location on Vandeventer. The neon signs and decor definitely give it a modern vibe. The menus is limited to 10 options but you can get them in a Burrito, Bowl, Salad, or Nachos. I asked the server at the counter what the most popular pick was and she said "Tiger Style". So I ordered the regular size Tiger Style Bowl. She said it's called Tiger Styled because they drizzle both the OG Fire and Unagi sauce on top of the bowl. You have the option to modify your meal as they are building it which is nice if you want to add more protein, veggies, etc. She asked if I wanted jalapeños, I said "I'll pass" but ended up with them on my bowl anyway :/ not a big deal though, I just picked them off. Prices are to be expected- $15.95 for a regular Tiger Style or $18.95 for large. The regular was plenty for me though.”

They even let my baker bring the cake to them the day of, and they handled it from there. The bar was awesome!! The drinks were delicious and ll the staff from serves to bartenders were so friendly! Our wedding was at the World's Fair Pavillion which has some stricted guidelines/rules which we were worried about. Pasta House took care of all of it and didn't let us worry once about it. Last night, the dish came out with a different potato (whole crispy potatoes), which are good but the dish for the last several years is served on top of whipped mashed potatoes. The whole dish tasted different, somewhat bland. I added the waitress if I was crazy or maybe I switched out the potatoes and she said the menu just changed a few days ago. She did bring a side of whipped mashed potatoes, which was very nice, still doesn't have the same blend when it's typically layered: whipped potatoes, spinach, medallions, sauce - they all complement each other. The gal with me had never had the medallions and ordered it - she wasn't as impressed with the potato's, some of them were so crispy you couldn't cut it. First time I've been disappointed with a dish. Maybe in the future if I order this dish I substitute the potatoes. I eat at this establishment several times a month. Will always highly recommend. Only this one time did a dish not wow me!! MEDALLIONS Two 4 oz. beef tenderloin medallions over smashed Yukon Gold potatoes, sautéed spinach & mushroom brandy sauce.”

I took my sister to treat her to some boba, we got the order and not even 5 sips into the cup, AS we walked the small distance between the store and my parked car, it ran out and all that remained was ice. It is even more disappointing considering it was a children’s cup. The same happened with mine, and mine was a much larger cup. Quite literally, 75-80% of the cups were ice cubes. It feels like a waste of money when things like this occur and demotivates us from going here again, as it has happened multiple times now even with light ice requests.”
