The food smells Amazing as soon as you walk in the door.I went for the Monggo Soup that can be a challenge to find, a high protein mung bean soup. Yet, have to say I wanted to take every dish available. The spicy spinach was delicious and should have super sized my order. The cooking and flavors are simply BOSS.I’m bringing my friends and for a taste and definitely recommend for you to pick up some of the best cooking.

Went here for the first time today (11/6/23). Was greeted by a lovely woman behind the counter. I told her it was my first time here, she was very patient with me. I think I've had filipino food once, so I wasn't all that familiar with the different dishes. I ordered some crispy pork, a combo plate with chicken/pork adobo, garlic rice and an order of eggrolls. The chicken adobo was my absolute favorite, the pork adobo was okay, the flavor was a little too strong for my liking. The egg rolls were really good as well, but I didn't really like the crispy pork. Overall the food is pretty good with big portions and great customer service. I will definitely be back, I want to try some of the other dishes they have.

While searching yelp for eats within a radius of me at the time, I found Lola Tining's Cuisine. Looking at the menu, it was the veggie pancit and veggie egg rolls that caught my interest because I remembered another yelper, Tina M, a yelper out of Bakersfield CA endorsing veggie pancit which is a Filipino dish. With that, Lola Tining's Cuisine became an instant bookmark that I looked forward to visiting.I pre-ordered online via yelp due to Lola Tining's Cuisine always appearing closed every time I drive by its location with hopes of ordering. The parking lot is shared with other businesses that never appear to be open when I drive by.During my visit, I encountered an older woman, Antonet, who was behind the counter putting together meals. I stated my name and what I came for and she started my order. As she put together my order, I could not help but look around to see what Lola Tining's offered. Lola Tining's Cuisine appeared like a small grocery store. It was not until I started browsing at some of the grocery items when I saw where the hot foods are made in the back. Prior to giving me the container, Antonet mentioned that she added an extra egg roll with my order as I browsed, which put a smile on my face. I could not resist eating the veggie egg rolls as I drove along Interstate 290. It was a good thing that traffic was sort of busy, yet easy to maneuver in because it allowed me to dig inside of the container to grab an eggroll to devour, hehe. After eating my last egg roll, I just could not wipe the smirk off of my face thinking about how good they tasted. As for the veggie pancit, I enjoyed each bite very much! Its taste lived up to what my taste buds expected. And honey, I tell you what? It certainly will not be the last time I order it along with egg rolls, yasss! If you are a vegetarian like me, be cautious and ready to pick out small chunks of meat inside of the dish, but other than that I loved it very much. In time, I can surely see myself pre-ordering from Lola Tining's Cuisine again with the intent of picking up before entering Interstate 290, being that its location sits along my route leaving work. ~ Selfcare is healthcare. ~ Thomas G

I ordered afritada and was highly disappointed. No sauce, chicken was hard, potatoes & peppers were hard. I couldn't even finish it, was that nasty. I should've just waited til I got home to make it or asked my Lola to make it. 0 flavor, I don't recommend at all.

Food is good but I was charged way too much. Make sure you ask what the prices are before you get your food. I was in a rush and didn't realize I was over charged until later. Also there is no dine in at all and web site is incorrect on prices. I feel sorry for them.Parking: Lot was empty

This is one of those gems inconspicuously located in a corner area of Oak Park next to 290 - the minute you walk in, you're transported by the groceries surrounding you as you make your way to the hot foods to pick your items. I found a new favorite Pinoy dish, Laing, which is taro leaves cooked in coconut milk, my kids loved the lumpia and pancit, and my partner loved the calderata and longanisa. We picked up pan de coco for the next day's breakfast, which was also a hit. We'll definitely be back!

Nice place with lots of mostly Filipino snacks, sweets and side dishes. Has an assortment of a few other things and welcoming owners. I also really like their Halo halo shakes!
