“Excellent food for dine in and creative, well presented catering service options. Karim worked with me to create a menu that our guests loved.”
“A really great lunch spot to dine and chat with friends!! I came during the “lunch special” hours of 11-3. Service was immediate and very friendly. Both specials we chose also included a rich miso soup. The tempura batter was perfection, crispy and light but not greasy. Everything was presented in a way that was pleasing to the eye. I will definitely return!!”
“Outside seating. Excellent food. (I recommend the guacamole and the tostada de pescado: they make their own chips.) Modelo Negra (bottle) served in a cold glass. Daniella did a great job serving us. Reasonable prices.”

“We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.”
“The best thing about this cafe is that I do not live anywhere near it, so I can't go every day. But for real, everything I have had from them from savory to sweet has been absolutely fantastic, and I am not easy to please when it comes to baked goods. I cannot comment on the coffee, because I don't drink it.
But try a cookie! Or a scone! Or a biscuit!”

“Customer service is great. I had the roasted chicken and tamales. There were pieces of corn in every bite of the tamale, and the chicken was moist. Do not forget to try a margarita.”
“Jo Jo and the staff are what keeps us coming back a not to mention all the vegan goodies on the menu. The corn chowder is phenomenal and we love the ube buns!!!”
“Stopped in yesterday for a few drinks. Got to chat with the owner, eat some great local pizza from Billy Brick's, and sample some of the best beer Chicagoland has to offer. Right before we were going to head out, the owner had us sample their new offering Featherweight (which I definitely recommend). What's not to love?”

“Very high quality. Only downfall is if you’re in a big group they only allow you to order 10 items per 5 mins. That could include rice/drinks so for the 5 of us, we had to use the first half of our order on rice/drinks. Kind of sucks for that. Other than that it’s good.”

“There are vegetarian options, but if you're vegan, be aware there's not much for vegans besides a green salad. I also am gluten-free, so I had the caprese salad for my entree and chocolate gelato for dessert. Mother-in-law had the whitefish and raved about the limoncello cake she had for dessert. Her other guest had the cavatelli followed by the tiramisu. No complaints from any of us.”
“What a wonderful experience! We heard about this place by a word of mouth reference and it held up to their review of it and then some. We started with the special tuna tostadas (I am glad we got 2!) then we had the cauliflower mole followed by the skirt steak with bone marrow and finished with the tres leches. Drinks we had the 8M and mole old fashion(x2). Everything we had made us so happy, our palate doing a dance. It was truly wonderful. Highly recommend and look forward to going back!!!
Forgot to take pictures of some and dived into the mole app before a photo, just that good. 😋
First service the hostess was very nice, the food runners were ontop of it. And David our server was beyond exceptional. Food, service, and atmosphere get 5 stars without question.”
“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.”
“Veronica provided impeccable service from start to finish! She carefully repeated our orders to ensure everything was correct, checked on us at just the right times, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Her positive attitude, cheerful spirit, and confidence created a wonderful dining experience. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about her guests. Thank you, Veronica, for your outstanding service we will definitely be back! Good was absolutely fantastic!👌🏽”
“Great people. Food is so much better with the new chef. Only thing missing, nachos.”

“My husband and I stopped in to El Tio #4 for a quick bite while staying at the Holiday Inn across the street. We were on a road trip for a cross-country move and had a lot of great meals, but this one stands out. The portions were enormous and delicious. I'd especially recommend the quesabirria tacos and consomme. So yummy and filling! Next time we're in Chicago, I'm definitely going to try to get to Oak Park for another meal here.”
“Beautiful ambiance, attentive, friendly service and good food. Perfect place for family, friends and date nights. One of the Historic buildings in Oak Park.”

“I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. I guarantee that once you try Addis coffee, their amazing waffles, avocado toast, Ethiopian chechebsa, turmeric lattes etc… you will be hooked!”

“Had a fantastic meal at Seoul Ave in Oak Park. We ordered the Beef Short Rib, Rose Tteokbokki, Cheese Donkatsu, and Kimchi Pancake, and every single dish was outstanding.
The Beef Short Rib was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Rose Tteokbokki had a rich, creamy sauce with just the right amount of spice. The Cheese Donkatsu was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and filled with plenty of melted cheese. The Kimchi Pancake was packed with flavor, crispy around the edges, and one of the best I’ve had.
Beyond the food, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire meal. The restaurant delivers an authentic Korean dining experience with excellent quality and generous portions.
If you’re in Oak Park, this place is absolutely not to be missed. Highly recommended!”

“On Sundays, I love eating there after the church service when enjoyed eating different salads, pizzas and pastas..... especially drinking one of canned beers. I'm totally satisfied with one of Billy Bricks locations. Today, I had Baked Mostaccioli pasta and a can of Chicago Common beer.”

“The front of the house staff and the food envisioned by Chef Laura and well executed by the talented kitchen staff are outstanding. Simply outstanding.simple yet intesting eats. Whitney is beyond attentive to his guests' beverage interests. "George" Harrison, Jack and the under 21 staff are eager, respectful, and engaging. What a treasure in this neighborhood spot, with beyond just the nearby geographically located closeby fan base. Who's going to gift me with a card to Kettlestrings Tavern for Christmas? "8 days a week" left until December 25”
“One of the best things about this locally owned business, is that it is locally owned!
Everything you want in a wine store that you don't always find, a great selection, very knowledgeable staff, great accompaniments like snacks and gifts, and a nice clean place that is extremely welcoming.
It's a great place to stop in the summertime and enjoy a cold glass of white sitting on the patio and in the winter time enjoying a nice glass of red sitting in the tasting room. They have lots of things that are not easy to find and what you would consider a gem! They pride themselves on having a unique selection different from the big box shops!
There are price points for everybody and everybody will feel comfortable shopping here.
Did I mention these are local owners and they are in the store almost every day, a little gem in our town!”
“Great rooftop bar with good selection of drinks and tasty food. Great local option.”

“I had dinner with a couple of friends. We ordered the Taco platter, nachos and drinks. For the taco platter we choose carne asada, al pastor and fish tacos. Out of the 3, we all agreed the fish tacos were the best. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mix of the sauces and toppings made it exquisite!! The steak tacos was delicious as well, however we all agreed the al pastor was a bit to salty for our taste. At the end we had the churro which were delicious as well. They had strawberry and plain, both were perfect. All in all i would say this is a good place to fulfill your taco cravings. 🌮”
“I met the owner he was very personable and professional. I got my food delivered and I might add it was just as good as if I was Dining in. I got pineapple fried rice cooked with ingredients just like I like it and it was delicious. I also got Tom Kha soup and crab Rangoon’s they were good as well. Thanks again for having great service Mr. Penny”
“Came here for the first time with a friend for a quick bite and coffee.. ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL!! I loved it!! I definitely will return. It would be a nice spot to go in the evenings as well, if hours are ever extended. 5 out of 5.. Highly recommended. Next time I will be bringing a baguette home with me!!!”
“This is my go-to place when I have just got to get some work done and I can't do it at my house because I'm too distracted! it's a cozy place to work, not too loud, good music that's not distracting and I can stay until I get my stuff done. and have a really good coffee while I'm doing it. I haven't eaten there a lot, but everything I've gotten has been really tasty too.”
“Honestly, the food was fantastic. Didn’t even get a smoothie but this worker julia she just like made my entire life genuinely was just the kindest sweetest soul. I kind of wanted to jump across the counter and give her a tip myself. I would come back every single time and time again.”
“We always enjoy visiting with Bill and enjoying their delicious dishes (especially those crazy good wood fire pizzas!) Amazing!”

“Great food serving up so very tasty options. Service was slow to start but there was a festival going on so I can't blame the staff too much. Once the orders came in the food flowed well and timely. Very cute booths with plenty of privacy for all your slurping needs 😋”

“I really hope to see more of these pop up around town! My husband and I both agree on this place, the food is very healthy without compromising on taste. We've been ordering a turkey meatball build your own bowl from Uber eats, but I also really enjoyed the overnight oats and breakfast bowl with eggs and micro greens.”
“My wife and I were walking around Oak Park when we came across this place. We stopped at Starbucks and then we ran into pure green and decided to stop in. The way we were greeted by the owner was enough to make us want to throw out the Starbucks. Very respectful and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend the Mixed Berry Acai bowl and tropical breeze smoothie! The owner offered us the “wake me up” shot and blue-biotic shot. They’re definitely worth it. We will definitely come back for more!”

“I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious and offers great value for the price. Every meal I’ve ordered has been served hot and fresh, and the speed of service is impressive.
The cashiers are always kind and accommodating, making it easy to make special requests without any hassle.
I’m so grateful to have this fantastic spot in my neighborhood; it has quickly
become a favorite of mine!”
“Loved the $11 Pecorino & Tomato Tartine:
(Olive oil fried toast with pecorino, preserved tomato & confit garlic with herby gremolata).
Just needed more preserved tomatoes as had soo much delish confit garlic & maybe too much olive oil as middle of the toast was a bit soggy.
$14 Green Salad was good but it was mostly just greens & barely any of the other ingredients listed:
(Asparagus, preserved lemon, parmesan & roasted shallot vinaigrette).
$14 Blueberry Struesell Loaf. While the next line was reminiscent of Blueberry Muffin, was not a Struesell & had barely any Blueberry. Sad.
Service was a little awkward.
Weren't greeted or asked if ready to order. Had to get their attention. But everyone was super nice.
Also, a diner wanted their sandwiches heated up but were first told no can do. They can but said the sandwich is supposed to be cold. Customer insisted & sandwich was heated.
I'll be back for sure for take-out & fresh breads.”
