“We visited Chicago and were looking for authentic food and this is definitely the spot. We had live music ? & the manager was so nice and polite the bagels we received were so delicious I've never had such flavor full bagels we tried the onionbagel, cheddar& jalapeno bagel everything bagel & rosemary. If you are inside search of good food and friendly atmosphere I highly recommend this place.

“Drove 45 minutes and well worth the trip. I couldn’t choose…so I bought quiche, key lime, chocolate chess, chocolate cream and pecan pies. All fantastic, but the pecan is my absolute fave. Go here. Your taste buds will never forgive you if you don’t!”

“LOVE this place. Been a huge fan of the girls and their baked goods for some time. Everything that I've tasted has been phenomenal- currently obsessed with their savory biscuit and their sweet corn scone! Not only are their baked goods to die for but their custom cakes are hands down some of the best cake I've ever had. They were able to create my birthday cake for my 30th birthday and it was a knockout. I showed them a photo of something similar they did back in the day and they nailed it. My guests could not stop raving about it. Love that they are here in Oak Park!”

“This is not the first time that we have been to this restaurant, but it is one of the best experiences we've had. Really delicious and interesting cocktails, and a marvelous menu of carefully prepared foods. I think my only reservation was that they were not good at timing when things arrived at the table, and a few things arrive too soon at the beginning; but all we had to do was talk to the waiter, and the rest of the meal was paced beautifully and efficiently. The place is not super elegant, but we actually like that very much; it had a relaxed atmosphere that suited us perfectly we were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary, they brought us a delicious cheesecake. We don't like cheesecake, but we like this one, Light and flavorful.”

“I wanted to give this place 5 stars! The food was spectacular, I’m still thinking about that goat cheese appetizer. The reason for the 4 stars is because the busser took the appetizer and our bread/olive oil away while we were still eating it. I asked her not to and she just walked away. We weren’t even half way done with the dish. It made it uncomfortable while we sat there with a completely empty table just waiting for our entrees we had just ordered right before she took everything off our table. Otherwise the food and drinks were great. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive!”

We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.”

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.”

“I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. I guarantee that once you try Addis coffee, their amazing waffles, avocado toast, Ethiopian chechebsa, turmeric lattes etc… you will be hooked!”

“I have been coming here for the past few months and Passion Eats has never let me down.I am always greeted with a warm welcome and professionalism from Shakira and she does an amazing job with the orders and call-ins.She always makes sure my order is visually and verbally correct every time and asks if anything else is needed before I leave.I had a previous Soul Food spot before but I have not been back to it since trying Passion Eats lol.The taste and value here is really unbeatable, especially in this economy.

I have tried the majority of the menu and love everything that I have ordered.You get so much food for what you pay and I have never been disappointed with The Portion Sizes.You can't go wrong with their Amazing Fried Chicken,Baked Chicken, CatFish or Chops which are my go to for Dinners. The main sides that I get is Dressing which is my fav, mac n cheese and Yams and It is a must that I come here every week or 2.I love supporting local businesses, especially when the respect and effort is always on display.My Pork Chops today were cooked to Perfection and I have to give Major Props to the Chef Henry who always does a great job and is very nice every time we have spoken.He takes pride in his work and his effort is always appreciated.I look forward to my next visit. “I enjoy a Beach Club here about once a month. Staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean. I always take out, I don’t know about their delivery service. Couple parking spots in the back of the building although they’re often full.

Parking: There is typical city street pay parking and a few spots behind jimmy John’s. The spots behind are usually full during busy hours but i get an open spot all the time during non peak hours.

Kid-friendliness: The food and environment are perfect for kids.”

“Heavenly, the wonderful gal at the drive up window on Madison in Oak Park is amazing! My 3.5 year old grandson knows her by name and makes me roll down the car window so he can say "hi" to her. This Dunkin Donuts puts out great tasting, fresh product and they are fortunate to have Heavenly on staff! Great job Dunkin and Heavenly!
