“Being from the suburbs traveling downtown can be an experience. This particular experience made our day. Moving our daughter into DePaul we came upon the owner of Red Light chicken who gave us a few pointers in parking near his establishment, after taking the time to help us find a spot he happily welcomed us with a free chicken sandwich which I’m happy to report was delicious. It was nice meeting you tonight and I’ll be certainly stopping by again - Fries are a game changer to!!!“

I'll tell you, the fries and the Mac is pretty damn good. I went in when everything was freshly made, almost directly after opening. This was my first time trying it. Wonderful first impression. “I’ve loved this place since the day I started ordering it! I order this almost every week or every other week when I’m at work in the evening. It’s always delivered fresh and warm and the chicken is amazing the seasonings are fantastic! And the names of the items to order are hilarious also the humor in me makes me laugh at them!“

“Cluck’N Wings is a fantastic spot to satisfy those chicken cravings! I had “The Box” (fried chicken sandwich, chicken tender, and fries) with Maple Gold sauce and it was insanely delicious…perfect blend of a slightly sweet chicken’n’waffles vibe. It was so much food you best be hungry. The chicken tenders are a full chicken breast and were huge compared to other chicken spots. The owner made my food and we got to chatting. He uses all fresh ingredients, homemade sauces, and is culinary trained. Super nice guy and I’ll be supporting this local business again. Cheers!“

“We’ve been here a few times and every time the food is awesome. Super easy and healthy dinner option when don’t want to cook. We love the whole jefe chicken and order with broccoli, Mac and cheese, and fries (the seasoning for the fries is awesome). Service is great and the music they play is always top tier. “Hopefully they expand more but they’re in a crowded market. While I haven’t tried every chicken place - I recently tried the abysmal Raising Canes - this stuff is top tier. Really good chicken. They definitely lean more on their sandwiches and biscuits - but I think it’s noteworthy that their chicken is so much better than most of their direct competitors.“

“Absolute gluttony. We got delivery from Byrd’s and were completely satisfied. The Byrd Bombs were huge and filled to the brim with crispy chicken, fries, a piece of toast, and pickles and drenched in cheesy sauce. Eating this will leave you full for days, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re feeling especially ravenous!“

“Edit: I was able to call the restaurant about 9 days later. They opened late the day I ordered online, but the online system did not have the updated hours. I was able to get the refund from the restaurant. (Be aware that the restaurant does not always pick up the phone… might be better to visit them in person if you want to ask them a question.)

Ordered online on Thursday around 4pm. Restaurant was closed, and no one picked up the phone. Same thing today (Friday) at 2:30pm. I will be calling my credit card company to cancel the transaction.“

“I finally tried CM after years of walking by it and it was fantastic. I walked in and ordered the Curry Chicken to go. Took about 10 minutes and I sat down at the bar for a beer while I waited. Service was great and will definitely be going back.“

Delicious tenders; well seasoned and JUICY unlike many tenders i’ver tried, simple yet satisfying french fries with some parmesean cheese so no salt needed.
Quantities were good, sauces were delicious, menu is straight to the point.

Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. Was worried when I saw waffel fries because you usually only get a handful, but their bag was loaded. Will be coming back for sure.“

“Whenever I see a Browns Chicken when driving around I try to stop in and order some wings. This Browns was good. I think the wings may have been from earlier lunch batch. I stopped in at odd time, 3:30 pm. So they weren't super fresh but still good and great crusty, flavorfull coating. Biscuit and side of slaw was also good. Price was reasonable. $11 for 4 wings, 1 side, biscuit, drink and tax. Interior was clean including windows, counters, floor chairs and tables. I think they need their drains cleaned out though based on slight smell. I'd eat there again.“
