Being from the suburbs traveling downtown can be an experience. This particular experience made our day. Moving our daughter into DePaul we came upon the owner of Red Light chicken who gave us a few pointers in parking near his establishment, after taking the time to help us find a spot he happily welcomed us with a free chicken sandwich which I’m happy to report was delicious. I just had an absolutely delicious chicken sandwich and truffle fries at Red Light Chicken!!!! The chicken was fried perfectly- nice and crispy outside, juicy on the inside. The hot sauce was really hot but I like It hot! The bun was nice and soft and it all just melted in my mouth!! Great addition to the neighborhood!
This place rules. The Chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had in Chicago and the truffle fries were legit.
