The old style bakery you are looking for. The offerings are top-notch with lots of seasonal items. Bring your kid in with you. They'll often let your kid pick out a small cookie. What at a thrill. And of course, all the decadent offerings the adults want.Kid-friendliness: The VERY friendly ladies behind the counter often let your child pick out a small cookie. Even my 6ft tall 15 yo. Big stuff. ? = core memories.
I've been going here since I moved to oak park and then for getting the cakes for my child's birthdays and everything in between. It's like the old school bakeries that you honestly can taste how much love goes into everything they make. They do get busy for the weekends and holidays so very important to know that you'll be in for a bit of a wait. They will always always always be worth the wait imo.
