“Nice little ice cream shop in the middle of downtown oak park, ice cream is customizable and delicious! Only small thing I noticed was the place was a bit grimey and could see a few appliances needed maintenance. Otherwise place is a nice little ending to date night.“

“The cakes are delicious! I ordered the mango passion and the Neapolitan cakes flavors and they were outstanding! The cake was light and the buttercream so much flavor but not too sweet. I was so happy to know that he is from Hawaii so the Hawaii flavors I grew up with, David brought those flavors out in his cakes. I can’t wait to try the guava and POG. The cakes were delicious with amazing decoration and detail. Party goers were super impressed and the cost really wasn’t that much more than a basic cake from grocery stores.“

I got some bread for día de los Muertos ? and the turtle concha ? was so cute my kid didn't want to eat. The place is clean and very nice decorated. Street parking. “This is my favorite place to order a birthday cake. You can customize outer cake layout with extra charge. I had their mango passion flavor mille layer cake for my dad's birthday. My dad loves it very much as the cake is not that sweet and beautifully layered at the inner of the cake. It tastes a mixture of mango passion flavor with a pitch of salty. The mille layer cake is a bit expensive but worth a try. Last two months, I ordered taro mochi chiffon cake for my mom's birthday. It is also not sweet and has a chewy mochi layer with taro paste and cream. I like the combination of the mochi with the chiffon cake together.“

“I ordered my son’s Golden Birthday cake from Cakes and beyond and did everything from out of town. Anna was very easy to work with and did absolutely everything I wanted. Her communication is Great. I had her deliver it to the restaurant we were going to celebrate and when she dropped it off she texted me to let me know it was there. The cake was Beautiful and better than I expected. It was very delicious and everyone around us was saying how nice it was and asked where I got it from. These cakes are worth every penny!“

Needed more last minute when OF COURSE my Amazon order with more wafer paper sheets in it didn’t show up! This place wasn’t far and super sweet! “Best bakery in Cicero! Love the Family the son Alex is extremely nice and helpful!! They have the freshest baked goods around hands down!!! It was by far the best danish I’ve ever had. My wife got a chocolate cupcake because it was our anniversary and she loved it! Our baby Benny got a m&m cookie and ate every last crumb. We also had shares donut and it was beyond fresh. “Alliance Bakery is the best! We got our wedding, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower cakes from them, and we received so many compliments on the taste! They also looked so great. The planning process was smooth as well, and I think their prices were pretty affordable compared to other bakeries in Chicago. “We got there right when they opened, first ones in. The place was nice and quiet, with that strong ice cream smell right away. The girl helping us was really friendly and welcoming.

I kept it simple and got chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone. The cone was dipped in chocolate, which honestly made it way better. That extra layer added a nice crunch and more sweetness with every bite.

The ice cream itself was smooth and rich, classic chocolate. I also added pecans, and that was a good call. The nuttiness paired really well with the chocolate, gave it a nice balance and a little crunch too.
