“Truly lives up to the hype. I've been wanting to try this bakery for a long time since everyone says it has the best tres leches and I've had tres leches from many bakeries but this truly is the best tres leches in Chicago and probably the best I've had. We tried the mango and Oreo ones and the Oreo one was truly delicious! The mango one tasted a little too sweet for me and I wish it had a stronger mango flavor but still really but the Oreo one was incredible! I highly recommend trying that one. The owner was also there and chatted with us and talked about the other flavors as well. Will try those next time we visit!“

“It is hard to find a cozier spot than this in Lincoln Park! We love this place from their cappuccinos to their macarons. My husband is German so he is very particular about his baked goods and he goes crazy over all things Vanille!“

“These cakes taste freshly baked because they are batches that go straight from the racks to customers, and by early afternoon the shelves are often cleared. The glaze technique poking and soaking, so flavor infuses rather than just sitting on top means you get even moisture and flavor from edge to center, no dry bites. i will be going to pookie crack cakes again .“

“My sister loved her custom Miski birthday cake. The bakery made our vision come to life. Originally the cake was supposed to be Matcha Red bean chiffon cake but they were able to take our request for Matcha Strawberry. It ended up being an amazing cake and a cake worthy of everyone's praise for it's cuteness. We were all delighted by the fact that the mission itself was a cake (cake pop) which is great since we aren't a fan of fondants or extreme sugar bombs. The cake was a perfect balance of flavor and not overwhelmingly sweet! The baker definitely has an eye for controlling the level of sweetness!“

“Alliance Bakery is the best! We got our wedding, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower cakes from them, and we received so many compliments on the taste! They also looked so great. The planning process was smooth as well, and I think their prices were pretty affordable compared to other bakeries in Chicago. The staff was friendly and worked quickly even though it was busy. The store can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but the quality makes it worth the wait. Prices are a little high, but the portions are generous. Overall, a delicious treat and a nice experience.“
