“We’ve been buying cakes from here since 2022, and all I can say is — they’re amazing! While they’re not the cheapest, they are absolutely worth every penny. We won’t buy our cakes from any other bakery. We live about 40 minutes away, and we’re more than willing to make the drive for their delicious cakes. Their bread and display case desserts are also really good. You have to try them! Plus, the owners are incredibly kind. “I ordered my son’s Golden Birthday cake from Cakes and beyond and did everything from out of town. Anna was very easy to work with and did absolutely everything I wanted. Her communication is Great. I had her deliver it to the restaurant we were going to celebrate and when she dropped it off she texted me to let me know it was there. The cake was Beautiful and better than I expected. It was very delicious and everyone around us was saying how nice it was and asked where I got it from. These cakes are worth every penny!“

The drinks are also excellent and definitely worth trying. They have a nice outdoor seating area where you can sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee and pastry. “Have wanted to visit a Paris Baguette for a while. They opened one in Nashville JUST after I moved away. So, I was excited to stumble across this one in Chinatown Chicago. Bright, airy spot with AMAZING, fresh baked pastries. Staff was super knowledgeable & helpful! I ate a Crème Brûleé Bombolone while I was there, & took the rest back to the hotel for later. Can't wait to dig in for my dessert later!“

“This place has delicious pastries, especially the croissants. The almond raspberry croissant and lemon blueberry mochi donut were tasty and flavorful. The iced blueberry matcha latte was delicious. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about the items they offer. Indoor seating is clean. There's plenty of tables for groups of 2 or 4 people who want to sit inside and enjoy their food and drinks. If you visit or live in South Loop neighborhood, make sure to stop by in the morning time (during the first few hours after opening) to avoid the crowd.“
