Now open 7 days a week!! This Lakeview institution has new hours and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to wait until mid week to get my pastry fix. Also the new partnership with celeb Chef Katsuji could be interesting. Can't wait to visit the new Pilsen location. But for now happy sipping my Metropolis coffee on a bar seat overlooking the window & nibbling the best tart cherry clafoutis in town.
After the renovation, their grand selection is no longer grand. I miss their huge assortment of cookies. That said, their pastries took over and they are not to par as they are dry. Sadly this translates to a no return for me.
