“Good food from the restaurant. The bakery didn't have much to offer was told I had to come back in afternoon for their pan frances which is strange because I feel it's something that should have been available as it was only 10am on a Monday. What I did buy was good though. I was not disappointed.“

“We bought a Sonic the Hedgehog chocolate birthday cake for our little Sonic maniac and she loved it! The cake looked exactly like the picture from their website and it tasted even better!The cake was moist, and the buttercream had a sugary zing with a rich buttery, creamy finish. Very different than other buttercreams I've had before but very yummy.We live an hour away from the bakery but it was definitely worth the drive! Will absolutely order from here again in the future. Just wish we lived a little closer so we could try their daily baked treats they had on display in store. They looked so good!“

“It’s no surprise that there is are all 5 star reviews. One of the best cakes I’ve had. I planned an office event in February highlighting black owned businesses and last minute found this bakery. I came towards the end of the day so the only thing available was a frozen cake. I was definitely skeptical but the cashier said it would taste just fine once let it sit out a bit. It was so moist, it was amazing. 10/10 that was a frozen cake so I can only imagine what the fresh cupcakes taste like.“

The cake she designed and created for our son's 1st birthday was stunning, tasted delicious, and was a show stopper at his 1st birthday. Nadiya fulfilled my vision of creating a cake for a hot air balloon theme and went above and beyond. “Service was great. Had our ice cream served in freshly made waffle cones. They were still warm. Tried caramel collision and it was the best caramel ice cream I've ever had. Caramel ice cream with ribbons of caramel and chocolate covered caramel pieces. Absolute heaven.“

“Stopped in since most of the reviews on Google were good. Was originally planning on getting a plain cheesecake with strawberries on top, but the lady at the counter said they also had a mango cheesecake. Knowing my wife loves both cheesecake and mangoes, and considering this was supposed to be a dessert for our anniversary, I went with the mango cheesecake. The person working the front then asked if I would prefer to order one for tomorrow (since this was close to the end of their day) so it was made fresh in the morning and I wasn't getting an end of day cheesecake. The one in the case was made the morning that I bought it, so I wasn't too worried. The cheesecake did not disappoint. Was flavorful, soft, and had a great mouth-feel. I would also recommend the sugar cookies. My daughter doesn't normally (read as almost never) eat sweets, but she decided she wanted a cookie and actually ate it. Staff was nice, place was clean, and the food was good. Would definitely recommend.“

“This place is such a hidden gem that I don’t want to share it with anyone, but I will because this place is truly so special you need to experience it to see.The Bakester is a beautiful cafe with a lovely European feel inside. I place my order at the front register with the owner or other staff. Her cafe latte is the perfect combination of milk and espresso. I also like her teas! I always order a quiche, if there are any left when I show up. My go-to is the spinach and cheese. The mushroom and Swiss is absolutely delicious and that’s is my favorite! I also get one of her fluffy, buttery croissants.If you dine in, like me, they will bring your order out to you in tea cups and coffee cups with saucers. The food is beautifully plated and service is great.I’ve never had anything bad at The Bakester and don’t ever think I will. I’m looking forward to doing high tea one day when finger sandwiches and works!Parking: Free parking on the street and there’s a lot nearby too“

“Beautiful & Delicious Cake! I was nervous ordering a large cake for my mom's 90th birthday party because I just showed them a pic of the party invitation and had to trust that they would make a cake that fit in with the floral theme. This was my first time here, so I had never seen or tasted a cake from this bakery. They did not disappoint! The cake was gorgeous AND delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because calling the bakery to speak with someone was hit or miss. Oftentimes you get a voice message telling you to send an email communication. They may be a little short-staffed and the cakes are not cheap, but for me, it was worth the price. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend this bakery for specialty cakes.“

“My favorite birthday cake that I’ve ever had! Decorated beautifully and tasted great. The frosting had just the right amount of sugar and was so smooth and the best frosting I’ve ever had! The cake was very moist. The macarons on top were also very good! The strawberry macaron tasted like a fresh strawberry. I will order all my cakes from her in the future!“

“Continental Bakery has been a family favorite since forever. My parents bought cakes and sweets for special occasians, now I'm buying cakes and sweets for my kids and new family special occasians. They always suprise me with their wonderful cakes. I let them be creative and they never disappoint. The best!!“

“I saw the bakery sign and quickly parked the car. Upon entering, I saw that the bakery cases mainly held cookies, bars, and cupcakes. Not a huge variety, and more specialized with huge sandwiched cookies, macarons, large bar cookies. I opted for a Raspberry crumb bar and a chocolate cherry macaron decorated to look like Santa's belly. The bar cookie was huge; about 4" x 5". It had a deliciously crisp base, and you could taste the butter. It was filled with a thin layer of jam and a lovely crumb topping.The macaron was another story. The cookie itself was great. Light, airy, and crisp. The filling, however, tasted like white wedding cake frosting. It totally overpowered the macaron base. Made my teeth hurt. Total regret.I'd be interested in trying the cupcakes.“
