“We are in Chicago to see a Bulls game and came across this place via Google. It did not disappoint! The service, atmosphere and above all the food was AMAZING! We each tried something different. “This place is great--a family fave of ours for special occasions. The food is always a hit, the vibe super cozy--especially when it's otherwise freaking cold 9 months out of the year in these parts--and the staff is seasoned and excellent. “Hosted a 70-ish person birthday here. Amazing staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor space. We were looking for a laid back, fun, relaxing place to host a birthday and this place checked all those boxes. Shannon was great to work with, and our waitress was super cool. Loved seeing what looked to be a family operation in the kitchen! My only comment is that the barrel room needs just a little more light for those overcast days! We will be returning to une annee and they are at the top of our list for future events.“

“It was my 1st time eating Korean BBQ. The food was delicious and it's fun to have the BBQ cooked at your table. I loved all the side dishes and all 3 types of meat we had were very tasty and tender. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly, that would have made the atmosphere so much better. I felt the price was unexpectedly high but it was definitely something I would do again.“

“We ordered from the catering menu for our backyard birthday party and it was an absolute hit! We had Vegetable Fried Spring Rolls, Hawaiian Fried Rice, Huli Huli Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, and Vegetable Fried Rice. Everything was so delicious that there wasn’t a single bite left, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Ordering was simple, and delivery was quick and convenient. “I recently reached out to Mindy's for a birthday cake for my sisters birthday. The process was incredibly smooth to get my order in and confirmed. The woman who replied to my email request was kind, understanding and knowledgeable as she walked me through the whole process. They were clear up front about not doing heavy design work but since it's Mindy's, everything is always so good that I was here for the flavors not necessarily design. Then they suggested fresh flowers to lift the cake up and admittedly I had no idea how it would turn out. Well let me tell you all, this was the prettiest, best tasting cake I've ever had before. People stopped me as I was walking out with it to admire it. The people at the restaurant we hosted the party at wanted to know where it was from. Cakes are honestly such a center piece of a party and this cake did not disappoint. Mindy and her team are some of the best, most talented people around. Come support this shop whether it's for a bagel or a custom cake. Thank you, Mindy. Thank you Mindy's team!!“

“Went in today aug 9 2026 ordered a 2. Meat plate sausage and brisket with Mac and cheese and potato salad
Was so good went back for a half pound of brisket
I had left a review about a year ago saying food was only ok
When I was there last I talked with the owner and asked if they had made any changes he said they did because they read their reviews
The changes were well received by me everything was really good
I'd say if you want barbecue give them a try“

“We had a fabulous dinner last night at Chicago Kalbi with Cummins Peru, Komat'su, and the VPs from Antimina copper mine.
Such a great place, where you cook the wagyu & kobe beef at your table. The food was delicious ?
Isao Tozuka, the chef and his wife Chiyo-san, are fabulous hosts, very friendly, and really happy to help and show you how things are do e.
I would definitely recommend coming here. It's a unique place. Make sure you book though ad it can be busy.“

“I found an excellent Dining spot. We loved the smokedJerk turkey Tip. The flavor is excellent and now I found Jerk turkey and it’s better than the chicken. I love green tomatoes the best I found since my on. The smoked Brisket Burgers you won’t stop eating them. They are in rivers oaks right now but they are moving downtown Chicago. If you love smoked flavor you have definitely got to check out Bell Heir’s Barbecue😍“

BBQ with great smokiness and flavor. we come here often and love the brisket Chile, ribs, smoked turkey and of course those amazing burgers. last time I was there it was $5 Burger night and it's amazing that they can serve a great smoky burger on fresh roll with fries for this price. full bar with a good selection of beers“

I was working the Southport Art Fest this weekend as a Brand Ambassador and it's always hard to find great food, at a reasonable price, that's ready fast enough. They hit it outta the park!!! “I had the burger at LongHorn Steakhouse, and it was okay. The patty was cooked well, but the overall flavor was pretty average and didn't really stand out. The fries were decent, and the service was friendly, but I was expecting a little more considering LongHorn's reputation. It wasn't a bad meal, but it also wasn't anything I'd go out of my way to order again.“

“Service polite and quick. Space clean and well organized. Ordered the Papa Q platter, everything was good, especially the pork belly and sausage. Sides were cornbread, sweeter than traditional, mac q roni- tasty, coleslaw- creamy and traditional, and mashed potatoes with gravy-really good. Hush puppies were yummy too. Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“
