I almost don't want to write a review because it's my hidden, cool spot! This is an amazing location, especially when it's warm and you can sit outside, to get some incredible food (this is some of the best barbeque you've ever had - no exaggeration, and I'm notoriously critical about food things) and enjoy feeling like you're in nature without having to leave the city.Give Soul and Smoke some love and all the dollars. But make sure Rockwell on the River doesn't get too crowded...read full review

First time visitor. Very good rib tips. Very good Red Beans a rice. The woman helping me was kind enough to let me try the 3 different sauces they do offer. All was very good. Tender, flavorful. Nice and clean with just the right amount of fat to provide the extra flavor. Looking forward to going back.

I was in the mood for some good BBQ ribs, so I decided to stop by here for my very first time. The server was really calming and welcoming. The food was honestly not bad and very tasty. Rice & beans & mac n cheese were both really good, but little bummed that came in small portions for such a high price. The ribs were super delicious and tendy.
