“We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“

“Its a nice place, has good ambiance and had a nice window seat. The tomato soup was excellent, had a sweet kick, wished there was maybe a spot of bread with it. Service was very active and server answered questions kindly. Food wasn’t really my type, a bit “fancy”, with lots of garnish, but obviously doesn’t deserve to lose an actual star because of that. Appreciate the effort clearly put in.“

“Drove 45 minutes and well worth the trip. I couldn’t choose…so I bought quiche, key lime, chocolate chess, chocolate cream and pecan pies. All fantastic, but the pecan is my absolute fave. Go here. Your taste buds will never forgive you if you don’t!“

“There are vegetarian options, but if you're vegan, be aware there's not much for vegans besides a green salad. I also am gluten-free, so I had the caprese salad for my entree and chocolate gelato for dessert. Mother-in-law had the whitefish and raved about the limoncello cake she had for dessert. Her other guest had the cavatelli followed by the tiramisu. No complaints from any of us.“

“I have been to this place a couple of times now and love the options that they have on their menu. I love their Poke Bowls. They give you amazing portion size. I have had their sushi as well and truly enjoy the options and portion sizes with them. Prices are great and the location is perfect for you to grab a meal and then catch a movie right across the street.“

“I had dinner with a couple of friends. We ordered the Taco platter, nachos and drinks. For the taco platter we choose carne asada, al pastor and fish tacos. Out of the 3, we all agreed the fish tacos were the best. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mix of the sauces and toppings made it exquisite!! The steak tacos was delicious as well, however we all agreed the al pastor was a bit to salty for our taste. At the end we had the churro which were delicious as well. They had strawberry and plain, both were perfect. All in all i would say this is a good place to fulfill your taco cravings. 🌮“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

“The first time I went i wasn't impressed. I say this because the rice and black beans wasn't great. The sandwhich was not toasted enough. But I went when they have a buffet on Sundays and the rice and black beans was still okay but everything else tasted great. They had red beans which tasted great. They had fresh salad, toasty cubano sandwiches, Maduro, plantain chips, lechon was tasty and fresh, fresh cut bread with butter. They had flan which I'm not a big fan of but this flan tasted great. Also arroz con Leche. Servers was attentive and informed us of different favorites spoke English and Spanish. Restaurant is off Oak Park so street parking only.“

“I met the owner he was very personable and professional. I got my food delivered and I might add it was just as good as if I was Dining in. I got pineapple fried rice cooked with ingredients just like I like it and it was delicious. I also got Tom Kha soup and crab Rangoon’s they were good as well. “This buona is the best one out of all of them. Service is always a 10 and atmosphere is always a 10. Mark is so kind , and I have only had positive experiences. The last time I was in there I had ordered a salad completely forgetting to bring the cutlery with me to my table. Mark kindly came to ask me if everything was okay, and before i could mention it, he had already beat me to bringing me the cutlery for my meal. Its truly the small things. Not to mention his attitude in drive thru is always so positive. Makes my day that much brighter. Thanks to staff like him i keep coming back. Thank you so much Mark!“

Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“
