“This place was good. I came here for lunch and ordered the 2.50$ chicken tinga lunch special taco. It was very flavorful and a good serving of the meat, also ordered the horchata since you need to order it with a drink. The service was great, people were very friendly and attentive.“

“I ate dinner at Donny G's several hours ago and am still thinking about my memorable fine-dining experience. I ordered the cream of broccoli soup, shrimp de jonghe, and chicken marsala. All three were really delicious. The sauces on the shrimp and chicken were outstanding. Hector was my waiter, and I appreciate his excellent service. I always look forward to dining at Donna G's because this restaurant never disappoints.“

“Great bagel shop to grab breakfast and a coffee to start your day. With the usual selection of bagels, you can't go wrong a simple one with cheese or one as a sandwich with beacon and eggs.
They had a good selection of coffee for those who need an extra wake-up jolt. The staff was help and great with kids. Great morning, stop to start your day.“

“I came in from Arizona to go to one of my all-time favorite pizza places! Came tonight to pick up a pizza to bring to my mom, who is 84, and she asked specifically for me to leave a review – she thought she died and went to heaven! You knocked it out of the park! We LOVED the antipasto salad, 18 inch pizza with your one-of-a -kind cornmeal crust, and tiramisu!!“

“Absolute dominance from a restaurant that is less than a month old. You thought you've had it all, that Chicago couldn't possibly have yet ANOTHER banger in Wicker Park, but i'll be damned, here we are. The cracklin' shrimp is so well done, I would eat a bowl of it. Lemony, spicy, deep fried deliciousness. The half chicken was among the best I've ever had (whatever that green sauce was, was KILLING IT) not to mention my wife's elote lasagna?!?! I can't wait to go back. THE MANAGER EVEN SMELLED GREAT. Victory!“

“Turquoise was absolutely AMAZING! I've done quite a few food reviews over the years because I'm definitely a foodie, and I have to say—this was by far one of the best dining experiences I've had. The food was authentic and incredibly delicious, and the staff was phenomenal—prompt, courteous, attentive, and on top of everything. Even the bread and dip were incredible! The dip was so light and refreshing, made with yogurt, thinly sliced carrots, garlic, basil, and the most delicious blend of flavors. It was one of those things you just keep going back for. I seriously wish I had the recipe! The calamari literally melted in our mouths, and the beet salad was fresh, crisp, and so refreshing. But the lamb shank and mushroom risotto... OH. DEAR. GOD. 😂 That was like diving into a plate of heaven. The risotto was ridiculously good—creamy, rich, and perfectly prepared. And the lamb? Like butter. So tender it practically fell apart. From the bread and appetizers to the entrées and service, everything was exceptional. WOW. Turquoise, you absolutely knocked it out of the park. This is the kind of meal you're still thinking about the next day. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“Amazing all around!!! The food was delicious and service was great. The pita was incredible and the hummus was truly authentic. We had the schnitzel which was super crunchy and the sauce on the side was very flavorful. The patio in the back is so nice and spacious and the word burning oven inside really sets the vibe. The drinks were also unique and delicious. You have to go!!“

“How could a bar cure my aversion to celery?!? I’m not sure, but it happened. I met a friend here, and after a fun couple of hours sampling the epic novel of a beer list, we went for the moule frites. I was mainly interested in the frites, especially when I saw the celery on the mussels. But I did try them, and their broth. The broth!! It was otherworldly. After a few bites, I realized the magic ingredient had to be the celery. And the rosemary, thyme, onion, and probably a beer brewed by the Belgian monks. Go here, people.“

“Ate there for the first time tonight. I am vegan and my husband is an Omni. Chef Bill came out and waited on us personally, and gave us menu recommendations, all of which were delicious! The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

“I loved it. Have been passing by this place since over a decade ago and never had the time. By coincidence I checked it out a few days ago and I ordered a double cheeseburger with onion rings and it was delicious! I also had a chilli which I recommend if you’re into dips! Very good service.
